Are Killer slower than they supposed to be
I found a Youtuber who claims that the movement speed of killers are slower than they supposed to be.
do you feel the same?
i must say sometimes it feels of not catching up without them having ms perks or even missing your lunge when you think you are in range (this part is mostly mostly skill issue i guess)
i have 3 k hours in this game ( - 1k waiting for lobbies) but im still sometimes uncertain if this is subtle cheating or something else.
just wanna hear your opinion on this topic

Idk slight speeding is almost impossible to see and if survivor hugs well he can be way faster especialy now where on every god dam loop are some invisiable edges of texture hitbox that get you stuck as killer because of your wider character model its not as smooth as it was back then hugging loops as killer.
The we have things like bugs almost none ever knew like the first (netflix vecna) having shorter lunge on m1 then any other killer, this was fixed but things like this are super hard to spot.
Personaly I dont seem to see survivors faster but I bump more into invisiable hitbox of loop textures as killer way more then few years ago which is making me loose momentum and I not alone getting it I bet I heard few sttreamers said this too.

Killers are not slower than before (aside from the things which changed in the latest Patch). So most likely perception. Subtle cheating could also be involved, but without a video, it is even harder to tell.

Not slower than normal that I can tell. I would very much like to see a m/s meter on the screen in this game tied to model movement, if I'm to be honest. Would help dispel alot of these situations to just have the numbers available on screen.

Yeah I was also thinking subtle cheaters explains this. I’ve had plenty of matches where survivors did not have any haste perks but were somehow able to run just as fast if not faster than me.

- Subtle cheaters
- Killer players that don't understand that survivors can loop around obstacles tighter than them.

who knows, man. vecna had a bug where he lunged slower than other killers.

Changing your POV slider in the settings will do this as well. If the POV is further out, it feels like you're moving faster and if your POV is zoomed it, it feels like you're going super slow. Maybe their POV changed? As for me, I haven't noticed or felt like I was going slower when playing as killer.

IIts More likely that they shadowbuffed survivors to 105 without telling anyone. Look up professional outcast on youtube. He constantly shows survivors running either at his speed or faster. I also agree with a lot of his hot takes.

A youtuber said something I agree with so it must be true.

Not what im saying at all. Ive noticed it in my own games as well as the OP.

Not that I could tell. I'm usually able to time hits on maxrange for 4.4 and 4.6 and I don't struggle to get a maxrange-hit on any of those speeds at the moment, so I would think that it's still consistently the same as before.

You loading into the game with the bias that a survivor is going to be subtle hacking will trick your brain into seeing something that isn't there. That coupled with youtubers providing you confirmation bias on completely irrelevant matches to your own is not scientific proof that a survivor has a 5% haste cheat in your games.

Probably not.
