I hope more countries are allowed to enter the cosmetic contest this year

As an Australian I would love to enter but I never can as we are always excluded :(

With it being the 10 year anniversary this year, wouldn’t it be nice to let more people enter by making the contest available to more people? Make it the biggest one yet!

    Usually when countries are excluded it's due to the give away laws in each country. BHVR is in Quebec and anyone living in that province is excluded due to the specific give away laws in that province. It sucks but this is a case where it's out of BHVRs hands.

    That actually did allow Quebec last year.

    While I can’t speak for other countries, Australia’s laws around these things are not that strict as far I can find. Australia is usually always included in these type of contests and events with other communities, it’s just DBD that doesn’t allow it for some reason.

    I am no expert on stuff like that, but @bm33 is right, usually it is something with the law of the country which is excluded. Maybe Australia is not strict with Contests like this, but it could also be that they have requirements which make it difficult for BHVR to hold such a contest.

    E.g. it could be possible that they need a point of contact in Australia for it, which they simply might not have. This is just one of the reasons why in some countries giveaways are not allowed. (As an example, obviously contests are different, but you get the idea)

    Good point! Never thought about points of contact.

    Still hope they can do something about it, it doesn’t seem like it’s impossible just difficult.

    The fact that the Australian server gets overwhelmed at peak times and we get shunted to a different high ping server should tell you all you need to know about BVHR's interest in Australian players.

    Unfortunately true. Especially when there’s an event, can barely play because it automatically shoves you into a different server.

    There’s also no Australian characters (or anything Australia related) in game yet either haha.

    I had no idea certain countries weren't allowed to enter. That sucks!

    While I'm sure it's something to do with international law and is probably out of Behavior's hands, you have my sympathies regardless
