Would you like a Mortal Kombat collab?
Mortal Kombat is my favourite video game franchise and I would absolutely love for it to eventually make its way over into DBD.
Would you be here for a MK collab and if so, how would you want it to be implemented? Full chapter or something else?

Hmm could work. Certainly fatalities would translate well into moris. Scorpion is pretty iconic and would make a good killer. Shame deathslinger already has the reel in mechanic

That’s how I feel. Although I would love an actual chapter, I would still be happy with something similar to Witcher where we got Geralt and then survivors essentially doing cosplay. Gabriel dressed like Kenshi would be so epic. I also would be happy with badges and banners and maybe even a t-shirt collab. Just give me something, I beg! lol

A collab can be many things these days as we’ve seen in the past. I would even love some Mortal Kombat branded t-shirts for my survivors to wear. The fact that Fortnite did a MK collab makes me more hopeful because they also did a collab with Stranger Things and Witcher and they’ve both ended up in DBD. I guess time will tell.

I suppose that's always going to be an 'issue' with a license with a big roster of characters, because I know a lot of people wanted Daryl to be one of the main survivors with TWD chapter instead of just a Legendary. If it ever did become a full chapter, I wouldn't be shocked at Johnny Cage being one of the main survivors. Something similar to Castlevania and Witcher would work great where it's the original survivors wearing outfits from the Mortal Kombat universe. There is a lot of ways to incorporate MK into the DBD universe without it having to be an actual chapter. So hopefully one day something happens.

Hmm I wouldn't be opposed but I wouldn't really consider mortal kombat horror more like gorey and who would the killer be from the entire roster Scorpion? Noob Saibot? Mileena? Shang Tsung? Shao Khan?

Im still not over the castlevania cosplays thing lol even got the forum mods to change my name to this^ i hope they never make cosplays without a legendary first - anymore. Its heartbreaking when it ends up happening to your favorite character. I even hate yui now just because of the cosplay, and Simon Belmont's cosplay was quite the slap. just looks goofy on trevor.
Though i can imagine them giving everyone MK inspired faction outfits or tshirts n stuff.
Also that downvote bandit is hitting every post today lol

It would be cool. Would require a lot of work remodelling animation wise though to make it translate properly. Scorpion firing a rifle isn't quite the vibe 🤣 but yh it definitely has potential. Mostly for skins but i think shao kahn would make for a good killer.
P.s. seems there's a mortal combat hater watching the thread 🤣 one downvote on every post lol

Well, Mileena is not only my absolute favorite MK character, but also one of my favorite fictional characters in general, so if she gets to be in the game as a collab skin I would love it.

If they would add a mileena cosmetic for someone, whether killer or survivor, they would instantly become my new main. Mileena is my favorite female character in MK

Honestly, I'd actually prefer if it went in the opposite direction. A few different killers would make for a pretty cool Mortal Kombat guest fighter, and if I'd trust any studio to evoke this game's style and atmosphere in a fighting game character it'd be NRS.
The best outcome there is that it's Trapper and he's somehow top tier when he's visiting another game, lol

If it's DBD characters in Mortal Kombat? Sure.
If it's the other way around? Then no.
In fact, i don't believe any fighting game characters can be translated properly into a game like DBD gameplay-wise, that both works within the game's limitations, and respects the character's portrayal in their source material.
