Adept Mode
Does anyone think having an adept mode would be fun/interesting? It could be once a month for a week.
When I play soloq, it’s incredibly frustrating seeing someone rat for the entire match because they’re trying to get their adept. But, it can be a fun challenge on killer.

I have what I call Legacy builds for both survivors and killers, where I use their 3 main perks and one universal (once I've got the achievement). I've essentially stripped myself back purely for the fun/challenge.
I would love an official legacy mode where whoever you pick you're stuck with just their perks. Would eliminate a lot of the argument whilst not being barebones or luck of the draw (CS).

This mode would not work as well as you think
Since many Survivors have complete a** perks while others are pretty decent
So you would see only the same Killer vs the same 4 Survivors all the time.
And I think this mode would be dead pretty fast

It would be tunnel out or get rushed mode most likely and as you said many have adepts done so no need for them to play it its not that fun doing adept more like challange but many dont wanna play unfun challange.

I like this idea. It'll need something else to give it a lil more oomf in the fun department, but the core concept is interesting.

Neat idea, but unfortunately appealing only towards the smaller portion of the playerbase, and that's not taking into consideration the competitive players swarming it and ruining it for the casual players aswell.
The idea of seeing different survivors, different perks, and different killers is great. Yeah..
That's unfortunately not how it looks and works in practice; Instead, you will either get some very specific killers or the same survivors over'n'over again due to the META being present and players.. Welp, wanting to win at pretty much all costs, with the huge portion of them doing so with the highest success as possible, which translates to seeing.. Four Megs every single match or something..?
Y'know, any survivor as they share the same hitbox with the perks the players desire.There might also be the minor portion of the playerbase who'd still pick their survivor based on whom they like the best based on their outfit selection / personality, nevermind their perks.
Also.. I'd probably refuse to play the game mode because I've been playing my whole life with Kindred as a solo queue player; That's the one perk that never leaves my loadouts, no matter what.

Prepare to see 4 Megs every Trial. It also doesn’t work that well for Killer since a lot of them don’t even really synergise with their perks and so people will just use the same Killers as usual but with worse loadouts.
