Krasue is not healthy for the game at the top level
I would love to see any dev that works in dbd play against this killer and show me any types of counterplay. A killer needing comms to be tolerable to face is not healthy for the game. Please nerf this killer. It’s extremely boring and dull going against the auto-aim spit too.

Shes actually pretty easy to play against in my opinion, her head attack is just so easy to spin and really if you loop well shes weak, not to mention her hooking hurts her power as well, she was already heavily change when she came out and made weaker. im no disagreeing with the auto aim, that in fault is stupid and no skill. but shes not hard to face imo, depends on the player.

I'd say Ghoul is worse. Minimum effort killer for maximum impact. Although Krasue is definitely a close second.

Ghoul just makes me miserable
6 -
Agreed. If I was tasked with designing the most brain-dead killer who can 4k with minimal effort, I'd design Ghoul. It's so mind-numbingly boring that I'm surprised it made it to the live servers.
3 -
yet some players argue that he takes skill, anyway here come all the kaneki defenders to downvote me
4 -
And me. 😂 I'm beyond caring what anyone else thinks though.
3 -
same here, though its funny how people say a killer who can just fly across the map at the start of the game pretty much and already have a first chase takes skill. oh the mindset of some in the DBD community

Preach

Kaneki does have a fairly low skill floor there is no doubt about that, however when people talk about him taking skill their talking about his skill ceiling which is no doubt fairly high as well.

I would have to agree with this also. Ghoul is still an M1 killer at heart on certain maps.
4 -
Midwhich i think proves this, but he still has use around pallets no matter what map. i do agree though
2 -
it's mainly her synergy with dissolution which can be oppressive I find, that and she feels like a solo Q stomper mainly coz she gets countered so hard by any bodyblocking.
4 -
that’s my biggest problem. I was playing with my girlfriend and she just gave up after the first chase without body blocking it’s extremely dull and has very limited counterplay. She needs the Chucky scamper treatment
2 -
Nerfing her wouldn't fix the issues, she needs to be reworked (like what was done to Freddy all those years ago).
The only thing you can change rn to make playing as her and against her better is make her head hitbox smaller, faster transition into human form and more cooldowns for her spit attack.
3 -
Man most people on here are survivor players, you ain't gonna get downvoted lmfao.
-4 -
I find a lot of people here play both sides from my experience, judging by your posts you're relatively new to have that assumption. Plenty of Killer mains and Survivor mains too, I just think people mostly agree Kaneki is boring.

She is a rarity in killers that actually have to be looped, as newer killers are usually focused on holding W.
I think that currently, she is relatively fine.
-3 -
Krause It kind of in a rock in a hard place.
Unlike Ghoul I'm not even sure what I would change with Krause to make it more balanced without tanking her to hag pick rates (shes kinda already there)
Devs need to not go direction of making killers who main counter play is SWF orientated.
I was very vocal when she first came out about how bad she was versing wise. wanted her killswitched at one point (pre nerfs) but the devs have bonned her by making her counterplay easy for SWF while harder for a soloQ team.
Also as other have mentioned every Krause is running dissolution which defiantly adds to her feeling eck, think that perk is due for a rework.2 -
You missed her nerfs? Her vault is kinda pointless on more than 50% of loops unless its god loop or very long loopo with single pallet, I would say she is fine for a-tier she has to infect which is now way more demanding compare to her prenerfed state because that auto assist isnt helping that much I had countless of hits that should hit but they didnt, then getting rid of her curse/infection is very easy there is ton of shrooms everywhere. She is only good at 1v1 but forcing her to switch from head form to m1 realy slows her a lot and duos or swf like 3-4 mans can totaly slow her because she is terrible against bodyblocks and even insoloq she takes lot of time before she can do something like is she cant get infection on survivor fast she is just m1 becuase infecting with head form is worst thing you can do.
-1 -
This is maybe why his one perk is called nothing but misery lol
2 -
maybe…just maybe. i just hate Kaneki in general but in terms of no skill, The Knight is more painful

Ive played her quite often just not at "top level" and i find shes in the same zone as xenomorph. Slightly stronger due to all the speed but generally works a little too well against 1 on 1 and gets obliterated against teamwork. Like if the team is always placing multi turret zones and always take the xeno to them in chase, not much he can do except chase without power. If they don't know how to place turrets well or together, xeno never loses power and always catches people. And in krasues case if shes chasing people 1 on 1 her vicious attacks will eventually catch people quickly but if the team starts doing 2 man chases to body block, the krasue is stuck switching out of power or taking much longer to hit someone 4 more times before they get out of the way or can go down themselves. I wouldnt mind a rework on both as they feel like their counters can make the survivor feel like they cant do anything or the killer feels like they cant do anything.

you can’t loop the killer when her dash goes around most tiles.
4 -
I agree.
Personally, I don't care if something takes or doesn't take skill. Because, at the end of the day it doesn't matter if it requires skill to make someone's game miserable, you're still making someone's game miserable, which is exactly what Ghoul does when you play against him.
2 -
You can crouch tech her easily, you must choose right type of loop where the walls of the loop arent that straight and long because her dash has some turn limit, she can still be doged and baited like demo. Working with others and not infected survivors bodyblocking oblirate this killer a lot she only exceeds in 1v1 but sucks greatly against multiple survivors taking hits for each other. After her nerfs I would say good a-tier and I dont think they will change her because she has good kill rate only in one bracket, she is still one of least played killers in the game which protects her kinda and chances you will face her are very small you will get tens of ghouls, weskers, springtraps, huntresses and even many other killers than krasue, after her first nerfs many people stoped playing her and I would say she is in 10 least played killers.

Nah I been around for years I just mostly lurk and read stuff. From my experience survivor players on here severely outnumber killer players which I mean… that's how it goes in game as well so it's not like it's a shock. Kinda how the game is.

seeing as i kinda am new, i have no idea what population is on here

It's interesting that skill seems to be a requirement. Is it skillful to sit on a gen (which is the survivors objective)? No, should we make it so gens actually require some sort of skill instead of pressing a button now and then? Is it skillful for swf on on comms to say "Myers is heading to you meg, hide"? No, should we remove swf from the game so it requires skill to play v a slow stealth killer? Does it require skill to run from pallet to pallet? In most cases no.
My point is who cares about skill level and what takes skill or not, it's not about being the most skilled or the best. It's about fun even if it takes 0 skill. Or are people finally saying that DBD is a competitive game and skill is a requirement? Because for years people have been saying DBD is a casual game.
That being said, Krasue and ghoul are boring to play as and against imo. It has nothing to do with skill expression, I just simply don't like high mobility killers especially as they are way too common these days. Play against the same killer multiple times in a row and they get boring fast regardless of how who it is.

The population is always, let's call it, cycling. But from what I've observed, most people play both roles, but tend to sympathize more with one. There are also some really biased hard mains who are so loud and hostile they make it seem like it's worse than it is. People also tend to think that which ever side they main is the one less represented. Negativity bias goes hard in this community.

ive yet to see a hostile person on the forums

You will see it after time that post brings people close to it in wawes and then the others arive with different opinion and downvote the hell from previous wawe it works like this.
But mostly theres more survivor sided people in opinions on this forum than otherwise even the ones that are here the longest (meant that they have like x thousand posts like that awa guy with 18k or else) are more survivor sided sith opinions but if you will be here for some time you will see it yourself that bigger half is survivors and even the people with most posts that are here for very long time are which this supports this.
Now I will get smoked because I wrote it.

I think it really varies. There’s been peaks of both roles getting a lot of support and hate on here, and it can also depend a lot on the platform. For example most big names in the DBD space are all killer mains, so YouTube tends to have more killer leaning takes. Reddit I feel it depends on which sub you go to as there’s a decent blend in there. TikTok is mostly survivor leaning. And the forums I feel is also quite a blend. I think a lot of it has to do with tone as well. Often times the more negative the tone the more negative the response. There’s a difference between respectful criticism and just being a jerk because someone doesnt like a side.

i am starting to be more active on the forums so ill maybe see more

Krause is decently strong but her gameplay is boring so nobody plays her. Her nerfs made her clunky to use and her infection game is non-existent
0 -
Well she is good at 1v1 because of infection is easy to get rid off and thats her strong side, survivors that are coordinated and help each other in right times with bodyblocks can stall her so I would say better xeno as someone mentioned here just a-tier and fact no one plays her which gives every killer like this advantage.

Well you made breakthrough of all Im just here from what may 2025 but now I would say its like I wrote, I guess there were different situations back than but I cant tell I wasnt here.
