What was the point of killswitching Wesker?

If this is still happening?

I didn't intend to do any of these, they just happened. People who are doing it on purpose are probably abusing the hell out of it.

Yeah, they did not really fix anything. Wesker is really frustrating to go against because of this and while I get that he is a popular Killer and they most likely did not want to have him killswitched for 2v8, not fixing him and bringing him back is not really a good move.

Might be a coincidence, but that I face so many Weskers lately did not really help. Especially if others start to give up against him, because they dont want to deal with that stuff.

The unkillswitched him for $$$ purpose and will most likely keep him unkillswitched for $$$ purposes.

It's funny because if this were Ghoul it would be mostly working as intended. At least he just hits you and doesn't phase you through the wall afterward though.

simple wesker is a bhvr favorite and permanently affixed on the good boy list.

Legion was removed from 2v8 because they couldn’t make them work, then killswitched during the quintessential BP event for multiple weeks only for 2v8 to come back and legion still disabled thanks to bhvr’s newly established 2v8 criteria.

Also an underrated issue with legion, despite being 4 in 1, legion only has a p100 emblem for Frank and no other member of the legion. I could see their reasoning behind other killers, or survivors with legendaries but most of them are either licensed or have slowly been getting regular emblems anyway.

let’s not forget their diabolical treatment of merchant.

wesker made them a lot money, one of their biggest player surges ever, and lots of people still enjoy him somehow despite the bugs. So yeah I guess he’s here to stay despite his state. He pretty much whitelisted and can do no wrong.

What money purpose was that? Did they release an outfit for him or something?

This is yet another example where we’ve been told an issue is “fixed” even though it’s not, not even close. We all still keep playing the game though, so I guess there’s no reason for BHVR to do things any differently.

TBH at this point in time I doubt BHVR understands about 80% of the code and interaction bugs both sides have. Since patch survivor items have been bugged in hand often upside down. So far it hasn't effected anything but I'm sure if left be, we're going to see some unintended issues.
