Honestly, I don't think it's going to be Jason or Pennywise or whoever else people are saying. I feel like it's going to be something original, though I'd be open to basically anything so long as it's not Darth Vader.

I don't think they teased Pennywise. The artist behind the video has come out and said they were hired to make a video on the Entity, nothing to do with the anniversary killer. I don't believe they even know who the killer is. The video was purely to showcase the Entity.

There was a stephen graffiti with a crown. The random 13 second video of artist's trailer emulated a scene in the it remake part 2. Im not talking about them using the word it. But everything else.

I disagree that it said Stephen, the first letter looked like an N. Look I'd be thrilled if it were Pennywise, and it very well could be, but the artist feeling the need to speak up and clarify that their video has nothing to do with the anniversary killer is pretty telling.

At this point? I have no ######### clue. It seems like it's an original but I'm not too sure if I like that because if it is an original, it feels like they're leaning towards making the entity a character, and I don't like that.

Hmm for me its a toss up. Either original with some signifikant lore characters we already know (someone like Benedict Baker, Vigo) or Friday 13th - could also be original for anniversay and Friday 13th announcement for later this year. There will definitley be some licensed content announcement of some sort, maybe a surv-only mid-chapter with The Last of Us.

if they actually went for a double chapter, i could see one being Casting of Frank Stone - Most of the designs and models are already there and power as well as perks must have been at least conceptualized at some point as well. I do not expect that, but see this as a possibility as well and this could be our first free chapter since First year as well, as its original (kinda?) and wouldnt feel like going against the other content.

Getting Stephen Kings IT would be very 10th anniversary-worthy and imo the video, while directly talking about the Entity, HAD Pennywise vibes for sure.

It doesnt say Stephen, but I think its the intention that it kinda looks like it from a distance, especially with the crown. Could just be a homage. Kinda Like the SHARKS graffiti as well.

Is it not going to be the community killer? Are they slated for a later release?

Personally i hope not. The idea of a community created killer is a very cool concept and perhaps suitable for the decade anniversary. But the footage we've seen of it's gameplay and description of mechanics don't seem particularly exciting.

I can see it being a big licence. Original killers are all well and good but there isn't really much hype for them because nobody knows who they are beforehand and I can't really think of any major killer characters from the game lore that people particularly want to see. But people get proper hyped for licenced killers

There are a few licences that may be big enough for 10 anniversary release, jason and It seem the obvious choices. Maybe terrifier or slenderman.

its been confirmed by the devs that the community chapter will come later this year. Also i think based on the codename in some of the showm footage or concepts people made the conclusion its the upcoming chapter after the the anniversary Killer (also kinda confirming anniversary will not have two killers)

well the reveal time is Japan friendly, so maybe it's a Japanese IP. it would be odd to choose a different time to reveal a western IP.

I think it's either Jason or something else big on the community wishlist that nobody is really expecting like Predator or Terminator. But I do think it will definitely be licensed (that said, a free original chapter would be pretty awesome. I just can't see them ever doing something like that).

Either way, I wouldn't put more than a fiver on it.

I feel 1000% confident that they have the Jason Universe license now that Mathieu wont talk about it in interviews when he freely did before.

Whether it is the 10th anniversary chapter I am less confident about.

am always speechless when people say Pennywise/IT is just a Clown. Like.. its not really a secret for those that read the Book or watched the Movie that IT is not actually a clown??

And then the whole power concept of the bottles? Jason as a Trapper Skin makes way more sense

I definitely think this PTB and Anniversary are going to be HUGE. I'm not certain on the 2 Killer thing bc we have Judgement's Killer ID already, but I do think we're getting a MASSIVE license addition like Jason or Pennywise. - Credits to my friend Cobra. I share his sentiment.
