I just had the longest post game chat ever
10+ mins sitting in the chat chatting with a toxic survivor who stated that I "berated him in game and treated him horribly and unfairly." He said this because he looped me around a jungle gym as Pig until I got Bloodlust 3 (I was playing along and it was kinda fun) and then once the gens got completed he got adrenaline. Instead of running to an exit gate or a pallet to try to loop me again, he goes to a Jigsaw box right in front of me and tries to get it off. I grab him and killed him and then I got that long chat. He also said I "berated" him because I teabagged him he was down when he was the one teabagging whenever he dropped a pallet.
He proceeded to call me and another survivor who told him to stop being toxic re*****, inbred c****, and other mean words.
Look I'm not saying that I'm a pure player but this behavior needs to stop, for both Killers and Survivors. People shouldn't whine and complain because they got killed, they need to accept their loss and just move on.

I agree. Game is over, just be done lol.
They should also not DC if things go poor. Play the game, do your best, move on.
Problem is too many people have this idea that bullying/trolling is the fun game, and when it doesn't go well for them they will absolutely not blame themselves. So of course you're the reason for all their misery. Not because they wanted to act like hot ######### and got caught. That couldnt EVER be it.

10+ minutes is nothing. I created a thread a while ago about the saltiest SWF team ever who messaged me for 1 full hour and when I finally told them I'll block their profiles they started messaging me with secondary profiles.

Damn, I'm sorry you had to go through that.

I mean... It wasn't that bad. Some of their insults were fairly creative to be fair haha

Theres a button to close the end game chat.

I am a survivor main and I generally look at killers from 'bloodpoint point of view' if that makes sense.
Chatting in post game chat is completely waste of time and in that time frame, I can earn 10-20k bps as a killer assuming I have 4 bbq stacks.
This is why I closed my post game chat. I don't care what people think about my gameplay style or how I do things. I play in the way I want and if I don't take the game hostage or don't exploit, cheat etc. you just have to move on as a survivor.
I really advise you to close your chat and that's not because you can't take criticism or insults but because you just don't need to. It becomes a lot easier. Create lobby, play the game, exit lobby, create lobby...
Easy fix for all problems imo.

You know what my favorite part about toxicity in this game is? I play on Xbox, so that means reporting messages does something within 24 hours. :P
Not knocking BHVR’s community management team, I don’t play on PC, so I’ve never had to use it. I can’t say if it’s good or bad. But I still love them.
I’ve noticed the message toxicity steadily declining on Xbox as I’ve done this over the months. Now that’s a lot of damage.

10+ minutes? No sympathy from me....you fed into it.
The community state of this game is the worst I've ever seen.
For a lot of players, the objective isn't the game, it's personal. The objective is to grief other players to the point of "rage quitting". More than that, players will even make up hate. Although they have no communication during the match, they WANT to assume that they are making the other player angry. I mean, it so bad, it difficult to even describe.
To simply kill all survivors, or to escape is NOT enough. You don't win until your sure the other player (killer/survivor) is losing their #########.
I can't stand the idea of "toxicity". There is nothing toxic in this game. If it's working as intended, then it's just players playing the game. But that's the mark of how bad it's become. Thinking or believing that your play style is "toxic" makes you a better player is pathetic. As if it's something to strive towards...being toxic. It was funny at first...this idea that players felt a strange sense of pseudo self pride just for pissing someone off.
Perhaps I'm projecting a bit too much...perhaps people do actually get angry at other players. With my perspective, it's an absolute absurdity.

In my opinion, invalid as it may be, if you get into that chase with a killer. Just because they don’t down you right away doesn’t mean they’re letting you live. Happens so much to me on Xbox (yeah console scrub am I right?) near enough every game I get a message about some obscure thing I did wrong. I honestly like to play relaxed so if a survivor gives me a run for my money I will let them go.
