Deliverance needs a nerf?
Apparently this perk is extremely unhealthy for the game according to this YouTuber and needs to be gutted. Thoughts?

The explanation of why deliverance needs a nerf is the same thing with luck needed to be nerfed.
When a killer takes chase with a survivor one survivor is off of the generators meaning 3 survivors are on generators right? Then when they get hooked then another survivor gets chased causing 2 survivors to be unable to do generators THEN another survivor has to go unhook and heal the first survivor making 3 survivors pressured and unable to do generators.
However with deliverance one survivor gets chased, hooked. Another survivor gets chased and the survivor picks themselves off of hook without making either of the other two get off generators. Meaning it gets reset back to 3 survivors back on generators instead of just 1-2

My thoughts are that CCs should be ignored. Deliverance has downsides, like an activation requirement that renders it useless in many matches if you don't get an unhook, or if you're first hook, as well as making you a potential tunnel target. These people won't be happy until every perk is worthless, or everyone plays perkless. Even then, they'll just find something else to make clickbait over.

Deliverance is a one time use and make your broken does it not? It also can only be used on first hook?
A nerf is wild to a perk you might not even get to use if you get hooked first. LOL

Funny coincidence, I just got out of a match with someone running No Mither, Treacherous Crows, AND Weaving Spiders. Bro hard threw that match. Would have been a 4K at 5 gens if I hadn't given one poor soul the hatch.
So yeah, I'm sure they'd all be fine with it.

A perk that can be used once in the game and only if you safely unhook someone before you get hooked the first time. No it does not need nerfs.

It's kind of the definition of a SWF perk, a lot of the factors required to make it effective rely on coordination with teammates. Someone taking chase early, no one taking the early unhook from you, everyone staying on gens once you can proc it so you can maximize its value.
It is incredibly strong in those conditions, and there's not really a reason to reward SWFs so heavily exclusively, so I personally wouldn't have much of a problem with giving it a rework to make it more coordination agnostic.
