Is Piggy / Saw license going away?

We recently saw Myers and pinhead depart from the fog when around when they had upcoming games announced and just saw Saw was making a 3v1 multiplayer game

Really hope we don't loose piggy as she was first killer I ever played back when I first got the game xx

Since pig has multiple skins that typically means that BHVR and the licens holders for SAW have a good relationship so pig should be staying for the foreseeable future

Not necessarily. Bubba never left despite the TCM game. And Myers and Pinhead might not have left because of their upcoming games, but that the potential resurgence in popularity thanks to those games means the IP holders wanted more money to renew than BHVR were willing to pay. We just don't know.

The last licenced survey BHVR sent out still had a second saw chapter on it, so it seems that even while this game would've presumably been in active development BHVR is capable of negotiating for more content with the Saw licence holders.

I hope we do get Kramer eventually, before we lose Tobin.

Pinhead definitely left because its owner hates bhvr, and also probably suggested some ungodly amount of money to let it stay. I dont see how dbd pinhead will draw away attention from single player game. Quite the opposite, honestly, I think a lot of younger audience know Pinhead through dbd.

It would only effect the Behavior if the new game would have bought an Exclusive license rights for making games to Saw franchise. That would prevent other game companies of using the characters. Seems like the Saw one is not and exclusive deal as its not stated in the rights section to be one. If you check the Hellraiser game it states exclusive video game rights and if you google Halloween game about rights its also listed as exclusive rights holder. The Saw game does not seem to have exclusive rights so it should not effect the DLC.

Given how prominently Amanda is featured in the 10th Anniversary Art, the new YouTooz that doesn't ship til end of year, and the love BHVR and Lionsgate have each other (plus James Wan via Blumhouse), I highly, HIGHLY doubt she'll be leaving the Fog.

One difference is Amanda is not in the new Saw game so there is no real conflict of interest in having the same character in two games at the same time.
