Any fun toxic streamer stories?

As a rule most of my interactions with streamers tend to be positive thankfully, but you do get the odd toxic one of course. Had a ttv yesterday absolutely crash out when I dared to play for the 4k. They got so mad they started talking absolute nonsense. Apparently playing around a gen that is obviously being worked and in the middle of the map is a reportable offence 🤣 and lighting a second pentimento totem is hacking since you can only light it once (someone needs to read the perk description methinks)

But got me wondering if anyone else has amusing stories about streamers having a tantrumn when beaten.

So have been recently trying to get back to being ok with Trickster who has lightborn, Starstruck, iron maiden, and cruel limits. One match at auto haven (the one with the cottage) had some random ttv and i think at least 2 in a party (not fully sure but more later).

So in the match I go find first guy, chase as normal, got a hit, guy throws pallet and tries blinding me when i reach it. I literally just stare at him as i throw enough knives to down him. Literally didn't move out of the way as i'm pelting him. So i go "ok then…" turns out the ttv comes out from who knows where and drops a flashbang…I proceed to hook my prize and go to last aura location at main. Go up the stairs to be stunned by head on and somehow they got another bang and proceed to drop it in my face as stunned…which goes over as well as expected as iron maiden and lightborn say "ha no" and bat him down. Who shows up but another survivor looking to blind with their flashlight!~ They were soooo starstruck they let me smack them… Can you see where the match is going? Only the one who stayed the hell away from me lasted any time off the hook.

Then the ending. Instead of blaming themselves for repeatedly trying to blind me, instead of NOT using the lockers after the first time, HELL, instead of realizing that I had lightborn stop trying what do i get? Salt. Salt about how im "lame" for running lightborn and my build in general, salt for tunneling somehow, salt for apparently switching to lightborn (and no i didn't, i didn't pay attention to what everyone had when in lobby), salt for this, and salt for that. The other two kept agreeing with said ttv too (hence between their actions, builds, and "cooperation" thinking a party). I pointed out the obvious of the above and got a lot more rage outta it too.

My favorite streamer story comes from a round where I kept getting lucky shots. If you play Huntress at all you know the feeling, it was one of those rounds where I just kept landing the trick shots. As a result I leaned into it to have some fun, and didn't really pursue the 4K at all. Just trick shot after trick shot. Lob over the rock here, orbital there, throw through the TL vaults to the other side, etc etc.

Now mind you, this meant I was landing hatchet throws so often that I had to reload more than usual, so I did, which inevitably meant they kept getting people that I downed up while I was reloading. I simply did not have time to get to the place I orbitaled someone into knock-down and also reload, and frankly speaking they kept getting them off the ground so fast that I didn't think to try. I was having fun lobbing axes, and never had more than one person 'slugged' from this approach at a time.

End of match comes, all four escape alive, but they do so as I am lobbing hatchets into the exit gate from a good 40 meters away. I down three of them and they crawl out. One stays behind to give the tea bagging and taunting that I'd expect. Otherwise I thought it had been a fun, goofy round.

In EGC the entire fourstack exploded. "Hacking and can't even get a kill", "slugging is pathetic", "Always knew where we were huh? Sure." They ensured me they were reporting me and also ensured me they had and would continue to give fantastic physical support to my mother so to speak.

I was baffled. Running an aura build on Huntress and them getting a 4E wasn't enough, they found other reasons to blow me up and leave nasty comments on my profile.

I didn't even get offended, I still laugh thinking about it.

Yeah lightborn is a guarenteed trigger. How dare killers run a perk to prevent flashlight bullying?

But yeah that is the theme, streamers misplay against a killer, killer capitalises on the mistake instead of doing what? Turning around walking away and throwing the game?

Like in my example the most obviously important gen, 70% finished and i hook someone next to it and guard the hook and gen. They kept mobbing the area instead of working on other gens and forcing me to move, so laving was an actively bad decision. So by not throwing the game apparently I'm camping a 3 gen and tunneling. Madness, entitled salty madness.

Well this was back when I first played the game. Back in 2024. I first picked up Demogorgon, never ever played him before around that time. My first literally Game as Demogorgon.

IIn The dead beginning of the game they popped 4 Gens before I hooked my first survivor. But luckily I had a 3 Gen i locked down. When I downed a survivor i couldn't hook her so I put her down, then kept rushing the Gens without healing, they never picked up there friend ever.

They literally had the win in there hands, all they had to do was rest and rush the Gens one final time and got a 4 man out. (I was dog water at the game back then. Im on Switch Btw).

So I got the 4k for there mistakes. But that doesn't matter at all, what matters is what they did after the match. When I joined there stream, they banned me from there stream while streaming at me on how I played. Im sorry a Noob Demogorgon Won the Easiest game they could've Won. They only one I felt bad for was the one they never picked back up.

What prestige they where you may ask, P100s with stacked meta builds around that time. And they lost to a No prestige Demogorgon and Cried about it.

I hope you Enjoyed that story of my first Demogorgon match

It's hysterical when they get salty when they actually survived the match. Tbf one of my swf mates does this. They can survive a match and will still bellyache about being downed and hooked, or scoring low, or killer attempting to tunnel. Mystifies me completely. No pleasing some people I guess.

I always respect another demogorgon player. And that does sound mad funny. Rushing gens so hard they cack the positioning and end up badly 3 genned. Amazing how ppl make howling misplays and blame ypu for captalising on their mistake. Like you should let them win just because.

The insta chat ban os also super funny. The streamer from mybgame did the same. I always pop into a ttvs chat after stream to gg and chat about the game. Inloaded in, said gg wp and complemented their skill. Got cussed out, insulted and insta banned from their chat. Proper toddler tantrumn vibes, they lose a game and throw their figurative toys out of the pram 🤣

I dont think ttv are any different from normal players. But I consider it really toxic when they dont save their streams and playback function is turned off! Imagine being thrilled to see your gameplay from side perspective(we do not have replays!) and when you find a stream after game its live only. Damn!

Yeah average joe players can be just as toxic. It's just more amusing when someone's making a fool of themselves on stream.

And yeah it's nice to watch it back from another perspective. Thankfully the streamer in my story saves their streams on twitch. So I could watch the match from beginning to end and hear their immensely skewed take. Proper comedy it was. Also fun to see some of the dirty shots I landed from survs perspective. I nailed the streamer through both shack doors while they camped the pallet to self heal. The reaction was absolutely priceless.

It is so funny. Damn you shoulda seen the one who crashed out at me over a 2v8 match. I was playing nemi, my killer team mate was a spirit who was absolute dogwater. ( at one point I had 15 hoom states and they had 4, 2 of which I'd downed and allowed them to grab)

A streamer with their swf was bullyng the spirit hard, constant blinds and saves. So I'd rotate over to help them every so often.

Ended up with an 8k. Never carries so hard in my life. Cut to the streamers chat, they were having a full rage out. Cussing me out and saying I was going to be banned for "double teaming" as if going 2 on 1 is against the rules in 2v8 🤣 i pointed put that i was playing shadow class that actively gets buffs for hanging around near the other killer so it's a legitimate strategy with perk support. The response was a lot of drivel and a lot more profanity.

Idk I dont bother to watch them while I play but some were praising me for skill and others hating me for doing good (which I would say by endgame comments majority) either way they are just people like all of us so no need to take them abo yourself their complaints arent something more.

    edit:

Pro tip when you see ttv just be prepared it can be swf if they have some influence they tend to more play with "friends" then other people so they arent alone in most cases I would say but this tip is more for killers then survivors.

Lol so were you the killer? He wasted time taking a hit, tbagging, then ran into an obstacle, then says your hit was bs 🤣

You should go check their stream after they stop streaming in many cases the vod only appears after they stop streaming.
