Fun new shoulder the burden use
Just got out of a game where another survivor used STB as soon as the first survivor was hooked to run themselves at our teammate, unhook them, so they could die faster and get out of the game because they didn't like the killer. I think the match lasted maybe 60 seconds at most?

who was the killer?

…And your point is? This is hardly the fault of the perk.

Why would you assume i'm blaming the perk?

Oni

oof. but yeah i dont understand why someone would act like this. Its such a strong perk if your using it correctly

I am genuinely perplexed as to why is that person even playing this game. Obviously, they don't like it, so why are they still here?

Thats something most people who play this game wonder

The title, for starters.

i think by the word "use" they mean a way someone is using it, they are not complaining about the perk, just the way someone used it in a trial

Are you sure it was because they didn't like the killer? I have a hard time believing anyone would do this against an Oni (not that it couldn't happen). I think its more likely they came into the match with the intention of ruining it regardless of who the killer was.

Ignoring the irrational mind of survivors that give up when thing don't go their way, you could see the reason as Oni was villainized during 2v8 causing many to hate playing against him even in 1v4.

I saw a lot of people saying he is over-tuned in the mode. I don't know that I saw anyone villainizing him though. I am not saying it wasn't dislike of the killer, it just seems far more likely to me the player went in with intentional sabotage in mind and would have done this regardless of killer, especially if this really happened as fast as is being claimed.
In the last 2v8 I had play while you wait players intentional sabotage their survivor matches, not saying this is what happened either but its just as likely as that player not liking the killer.

All it takes is a quick down before progress is made on gens for survivors to give up. Yes, the killer being the sole reason gets unlikely as you go down the tier list, but you can't discount it.
Since this scenario is more than one doing it, it's most likely a SWF where one didn't want to play against an Oni or a capable killer.

You realize the poster was a survivor in the match, right? And they don't seem like the type to give up in a normal match to me. So at the very least not a four man swf and there is no mention of other survivors throwing themself at the killer and I think they would have mentioned it if that happened and probably blamed the whole swf rather than a particular perk and specific survivor.
You are making a lot of claims about what went down and why with no real evidence.

I did not say 4 man SWF. For the match to last ~60s I would surmise that multiple survivors were in on the get dead quick scheme.

That Survivor is providing cosmic balance against the games where the Killer has 4 hooks across 3 Survivors and the 4th Survivor uses STB to make the Killer have no pressure anywhere at 1 gen left.

Tbh this hurts me way more when I get swf with shoulder then when I tunnel.
