yOU cALL yOURSELF A sERIOUS gAME
…and yet your notifications annoy more than inform (see also: broken).
And your quest popup and pinning system is broken.
Yet you'll have no problem whatsoever avoiding this and continuing to make content to drain my wallet.
This is an insult.
If you're going to make a grab at my wallet, you have to disguise it better by fixing the little stuff.
And fixing your priorities.
Right now you're some over-eager dude trying to get me home.
And I'm sitting here rolling my eyes like… you couldn't even clean yourself up properly.
Answer is No.

I don't know what you are saying as the pinning quests works totally fine just used it and had no problems. I think either you are not pinning the quests or there is a problem with your account. Might be good idea to contact customer support and ask them to help you to fix it.
Also there is no reports of quests not getting pinned in the bug reports so this is a rare thing if its happening and more likely might even be just tech support issue if you would contact them and ask assistance. This is noway a common issue.

Thanks for the feedback! It can be REALLY annoying when there's a notification that you can't clear up.
Just so I'm clear, it is store notifications that you're seeing that are the cause of frustration here?

Thanks for the follow-up! Here's the SITREP:
I'm in-game right now.
Mouseover the Quests icon > see pinned quests > quests are pinned that I don't remember pinning and can't UN-pin. Newly-pinned quests do not reliably stick (possibly as a consequence).
Also, your notification system sucks and is designed to draw me back to the store at every given opportunity. SO obvious.
…and you call yourself a polished effort. Where's the shame? ;)
And to answer your question simply: Yep.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with BetaHub, but it's where you can communicate bugs directly to the team and get updates on them etc:
I don't believe notifications remaining are intended, and BetaHub is the best place to report it!

"Get lost."

Nah just them telling you to give them the info to fix it but if you don't want that.

I'd prefer you didn't get lost, that's why I'm replying to your post!

'"Please go to this third separate bug-reporting website."
This is the proper, official response to the frustration of a regular player.
Well done.
Well done.

Or contact customer support as I told you they most likely can remove the stuck quests. This is a discussion forum not bug reports or tech support. If you want help go to the right place.

so…you dont want them to fix the issue your having?

Oh, totally. Ticket submitted. Please, carry on.

That is the official bug reporting website for Dead by Daylight. It is actively monitored by QA and team members. It is updated and fixes are communicated there. Your frustration is totally valid, however, and I understand being sent somewhere else isn't what you wanted to hear. The rest I can take as feedback!

And this is why you're in your position. I feel seen and heard. My compliments to the forums moderators, if not the MAIN MENU OF THE GAME. [wrecks nearby newspaper]

Would you like to see what happens when I click the following menu item?:
this is what happens:
Now, from my perspective, I don't care WHY you did what you did. I see a notification… I click it… to arrive at no explanation for the notification. Absurd. A waste of time. And then, just to drive the point home that no one paid attention, after I look at the store in confusion for a second, I return to the main menu to find the notification, that's right, you guessed it, STILL there.
It doesn't take a genius to understand why this isn't being fixed. And that knowledge is where the ire comes from.
Go ahead and make your play. But put on some nice clothes.

I believed you, and I appreciate you reporting this to BetaHub! I'm okay to not dress up for it though, thank you. Since you've already reported it, I will close the thread down. Thank you!
