The Jason anticamp nerf is abysmal for this killers mobility

Why are we making a killer's power take longer than a Decisive Strike stun because he teleported within 16 meters of a hook? This is legitimately an awful change especially since it works in a 16 meters sphere so it means even if you're chasing a survivor on another floor, you will be hit by this anticamp effect solely because you were near the hook and with how long it will take, you will pretty much always lose the survivor. Please consider not changing that number value.

God forbid you hook someone next to a generator and you decide to check on it lmao

i dont understand the obsession bhvr has with killers not being allowed to focus their primary match objective

facecamping was problematic because it was undirected griefing, sure, but defending hooks being verboten in the 'put people on hooks and defend them' game is insane

it's like if survivors got penalised for being to close too a generator

I firmly believe that no killer should have built in anti-camp to their power. We already have a basekit anti-camp if killers stick around the hook allowing the survivor to unhook themselves. There's no need to double dip.

Might as well just have survivors die after one hook state.

Why are people freaking out over the PTB? The point of the PTB is to test thing.

The anti-camp change is a good change. It is incredibly easy to use Jason's power to camp without triggering anti-camp or to just return to hook quickly and then tunnel someone out. Why are people so adamant that tunneling be the way forward for killer play? If this has an impact on his kill rate he will see buffs to other aspects.

if it's a problem maybe agitation is the play?

The problem with that is the anti camp range for affecting the power is identical to normal anti-camp, which is a 16 meter sphere around the hook. This means that even if you are on another floor from the surv chasing someone else either below or above, you will get the 4.5 second animation instead of the 1.5, making you basically lose the chase solely from that alone

Worst thing ever is not that they nerf very hardly killer powers near hooked survivors like we can clearly see on netflix vecna or jason but that these debuffs are still in game when all gens are done is beyond crazy because thats part where killer shouldnt be punished near hook even many times devs themselfs said that in deffence of turning off antitunnel perks and anticsmp feature so why they keep killer (especialy one or ones with not so strong powers) crippled in endgame id beyond my understanding.

Like you can tp to vaults with dracula eithout any penalty but god forbid jason to tp to it near hooked survivor even in endgame its just beyoned crazy.

I fear devs are having same mindset as when pig was new killer and they rather overnerf things that were ok. Shame we are in circles.

Maybe so but that shouldnt apply for endgame where anticamp is purposly turned off as antitunnel perks for valid reasons yet they still persist on killer powers.

The anti-camp power stuff just needs consistency across the killer roster. Why can trickster activate main event on top of an unhook? Why does vecnas thorns need three business days to emerge from the ground around a hooked survivors.

The issue that allows for weird balance decisions is consistency.

This will effect like three whole maps on a regular basis and most of them provide easy access to the other floor (I'm thinking RPD, The Game, and Midwich this last one being the only one that you can't typically easily access the other floor), if the survivor takes you in range of the hook even on a different floor they are giving you a free camp especially when Jasons power lets him change floors so easily. If you use the power and get hit with the anti-camp to an extent it effects the chase you have been given a free opportunity to check on the hook while at least one other survivor isn't on gens, I see nothing to be concerned about.

Because this is the live release, and they just decided to break him - at the last second - so now this cannot be changed.

And now we see why this was needed. Jason is already good at tunneling. Just imagine if he didn't have this nerf.
