PSA: don't use plague's pools
I'm getting a bit annoyed by my teammates using the pools when facing a Plague.. just stay sick and do gens, it's so much better than giving her corrupt purge (which has no counterplay). It's the same with Legion, you don't heal and rush gens. Same tactic.

I would not agree totally, but you are right that some people use them way to often.
I guess its because she is still relativly new and not overplayed so some people have not considered all options.
I often saw people cleansing themselfs, just to go and rescue someone infected afterwards.

I mean I tried not using the pools at all with a group of friends, we completely steamrolled her, she has absolutely no counter to loops. But yes I think in some cases it's okay, if you're injured, sick and on deathhook it could be beneficial. When I do use a fountain I also use the ones at the very edge of the map.

Now you've figured it out, this is how my group plays against her, we would much rather get chased with the little incense burner than that hail Mary vomit that comes outta nowhere

A lot of survivors are not good enough to loop killers.
Also keep in mind that some survivors prefer stealthy game play. When you are sick, constantly vomiting around, leaving pools of blood with injury sounds, it becomes almost impossible to hide.

In some situations, it is needed, in some, it is not. You shouldn't really demand someone to play by YOUR style alone though, if some people feel as if they should use the pool, just hide from Plague if needed. I'm not saying I'm a fan of it, but players are allowed to play as freely as they want.

I was saying it in literally every lobby but I gave up because everyone will do what he wants. She is ez to loop, her M1 has short range, as long as I can keep the distance I don't mind being injured. It's pretty annoying when people use pools but I don't think that anything will change unless this will become twitch/yt meta.

Well yeah, I can't tell people how to play their game. But I can tell them what the optimal way to play is. Problem is when you have to deal with her corrupt purge because your teammates used all the pools and she has an endless supply.

Corrupt purge DOES have counterplay, stun her, and hug walls— cut off LOS. Know when to cleanse, take advantage of her charge speed mechanic, and know when to commit to a gen thats been puked on.

Well, this does not work for me. I always have at least one person in my team who uses the Fountains, so it would not make any sense for me to not use them. I cannot afford to be broken when others give her Corrupt Purge.
And well, if they like... I mean, compared to healing vs Legion this is not hurting the team that much, I would say, because like written above, there is actually counterplay vs her Corrupt Purge. Lets say, I am not doing badly by using the Fountains so far.
Where I would agree: People cleansing too fast. I dont cleanse when someone is hooked, because I would need to cleanse again after that. I also dont cleanse when I am not broken, but I see many people just cleanse once they are affected only a little bit.

Don't use it right away unless she got you to the Broken State. Otherwise, stay sick as long as safely possible and then heal.
It's funny when a Survivor gets puked on, goes to a fountain and then gets puked on almost instantly

Korean SWF teams usually beat Plague in like 4 minutes because they ignore the fountains so it's obviously the most efficient way to face her. Basically they turn the game into a 4-man no mither squad vs a Trapper without traps.

I kinda agree but I'm not the best at the chase and puking every other second makes it possible for me to be stealthy for long, so I'm gonna cleanse.

This is basically her issue. Smart groups don't use the fountains. There's enough pallets to loop her five gens while broken so there's no need to cleanse.
