The game is in such a bad state

That i cannot play more than 2 games before quitting while i was playing hours and hours a few years ago.

That's crazy how the devs are allowing ultra toxic OP builds on both sides… I do not get it.

That game is a joke now, there is not a single fair trial, everyone is try harding with full META perks builds that make the game miserable.

I honestly had the most fun in this game the bugfix patch after springtraps release. I think this was possibly the most balanced its been in a bit. New killer, no pallet density, 10 second BT for killers. The survivors still had haddonfield, hyperfocus stakeout, syptics and syringes. While yes there were op things for both sides I didn't find myself struggling to get wins on either side. Or having boring gameplay loops

I kinda just play to get the dailies done and log off, though now that ive finnished the rift in over a month in advance, i don't even have a reason to do the dailies either so i only log in to grt the login bonus, and if theres a new page of quests ill do them. But aside from that im not really incentivised to play since ive kinda done all there is to do, achievments, tome challenges, 9 p100s to a point where its kinda losing its value. The only time id feel obligated to play often is for the anniversary cakes, like i got over 1000 cakes each on a couple characters i was prestiging at the time.

But i do feel what you mean how the game gets miserable mostly. My duo makes me play survivor with them on wednesday/thursday, and honestly i escape like 5% of the time when playing with them. And then on killer ill play something like chucky and its a 50% chance ur having a good time or ur on a map like "the game" and you swear half of them have windows of opportunity lol lucky to get even 1 kill.

I’ve been reading posts like this every so often for years now.

There has never been any real change, either in terms of gameplay or in terms of meta perks, balance, etc…

That’s just the way this game is, and always will be.

I’ve been having fun on both sides. Players count is at a historic high, so plenty of other people have been having fun too, apparently.

What do you consider as “OP/toxic builds?”

Apparently over 1mil players a day total on all platforms. That is quite good.

Can you share your killer stats? Just wondering if you are actually basing this on your experience

Just show me your killer hours. That’s all I ask. Nobody is questioning the accuracy of that stat

sigh…I tried, and I’ll stop asking. It’s very obvious what you’re trying to do here now

bugs evrywhere, like powers glitching or now I had endgame times slowed even when last survivor was fend and was just injured not hooked or downed which is when the times slows so sshe had adren and I guess its cause of that bug because I downed her and went for other two teammates that were circling around me for save but screw up.

Still it will be interesting what will be broken when jason update hits live.

It wont change until another game company makes a good enough product to force BHVR to listen. we will still have the abhorent maps, stale meta, and busted perks until someone can beat DBD at its own game.

Its 10x more fun playing with someone, streaming with people, this game is a social game and you can get pretty burnt out playing alone. That they vs them mindset and who's toxic for trying to win mindset is what burns you out the most and its pretty easy to fall into that pit. The only thing I get frustrated with lately is when I get those teammates that are so scared that they leave you on hook for 140 seconds crouched in a bush, and subtle cheaters that gaslight you into thinking you're crazy.

It's crazy the game somehow feels even worse than before.. unless you mostly play survivor of course. Game is a more boring mess than it was even last year. Like you said atleast both sides were enjoyable.

Sounds like a you problem. Being tired of a long running game is not uncommon. I don't know when you started playing DBD, but this OP builds you speak of are child's play compared to what this game was long ago. I know people baseline when they first start playing, but this game had some stupidly broken perks.

The game is just boring. Survivors get good perk and then nerfed. Constant nerfing different perks. I mean if I want to be consistently competitive… have to go meta. Soooo boring. They need to make it more fun unless all you gonna get is swfs , metal builds, sprint burst, vigil, gen rush. I also as a survivor...I hate their scoring. The person hiding and saving and healing gets more points than the person in chase, or getting gens done

"I am the best survivor in the world and SoloQ survivor is easier than ever. I can escape 95% of my matches without too much effort. I usually run off meta builds because when i go with the meta the killers make only 1 or 2 hooks at max. I won't share my stats because they are not precise but, TRUST ME, i am the best survivor in the world and can have a perfect escape rate in SoloQ without too much effort"

    🤣

There is a lot of truth to this. BHVR can do pretty much whatever the want with the game without listening to any community feedback, ignore bugs for years, never update old content, etc. and they’ll still keep the players because there’s no competition. But they do deserve a lot of credit for making a game in this genre so successful for so long when nobody else could.

BHVR actually listens, but only to killer demands. They ruined the game for survivors when they added 10 additional seconds to every gen and nerfed every good survivor perk (like dead hard, or just recently: Fast Track). And also the buff regarding anti-camping is just a joke. But hey, they made it easier to abandon. Thanks! We know that we do not have a chance as survivors, but in the end it looks like an escape.

This just isn't true.. Can we stop pushing us vs them so aggressively? The game is balanced around solo-duo queue which is why killers still retain their kill rate of 60% unlike against SWFs where it is significantly harder to balance the game around and whatnot due to everyone communicating. Survivors have also gotten some pretty sizeable buffs, such as 70 second hook timer, 15 second BT, pallets going up from 12 per map to about 20 and up, exhaustion still hasn't been nerfed for years, original DH and Fast Track were extremely problematic which is why they were nerfed (Stb, Deli, and luck still exist btw but they're only super viable in SWF soo.) Either way each side has reached sizeable buffs over the years.

Remember the game isn't survivor sided, nor killer sided, its SWF sided!
