Very excited for the sandbox and modding stuff!
Greetings, friends of the Fog! I hope this discussion finds you doing well.
I just wanted to drop this here because it is, by far, the announcement I'm most excited about. Even if it may be a bit too early, it is hard not to get excited about this because this is huge.
This has massive potential.
Now, I imagine licensed content will be hit with some heavy restrictions once this drops. Perhaps they won't be excluded entirely, but we probably won't get the same freedom that we apparently will get with the original content.
But even still, as far as original content goes we are looking at the idea of finally being able to create our own stuff, and that is incredible.
Really looking forward to it.

Sorry I didn't watch the stream:
Do I understand it right that they want to add that you can mod in your own outfits for characters? xD

That, and much more, dear friend!

I'm hoping for a custom game creation system, akin to what Overwatch has. People made entirely new gameplay systems within it.
Being able to drag and drop tiles to make a functional new map, then sharing that, would be great. TF2's best and most balanced maps came from hobbyist mappers and were eventually incorporated into the game officially. DBD getting the same treatment would sure be something.3 -
Oh very quick awnser, thank you very much!
That sounds very nice, I'm really looking forward to that. I'm sure there will be some absolute increadible custom skins for the characters -maybe it will also help the compscene if it allows changing rules and general structure of the game! :D

Yes, both of those would be great! I hope individual character customization goes even further than what Overwatch has.

Knows you like original freddy. They add a modding gamemode teasing you can possibly change around abilities. Very interesting. Lol.

This can go in any direction but i am looking for ward to it!
This will probably not affect regular matched but restricted to its own Mode or custom games right?1 -
Hahaha, well that certainly would be fun.
Obviously the licensed characters will have restrictions, but Freddy's license holders approved that power originally, so we never know.
Maybe.
But if Freddy won't be possible to tweak like that, Skull Merchant certainly will be. Either way, I'm happy.
Not entirely, Cote did say in the post-show interview with Slasher Radio that there won't be any rules keeping them from, with the proper credit, adding user-created stuff to the base game.

dont be sorry, i applaud you

yeah but surely there will be a space in the game where the mods can be used/tested first? Would be interesting if thats actually free for all somehow or restricted to custom lobbies.
I actually have no idea how other Games implement stuff like that in PvP modes

Oh yes, for sure. Custom Games, I imagine.
