We noticed an issue affecting the amount of Toothy Tortes delivered in the Bloodweb when using the Auto-Bloodweb and Bulk Spending features. This issue is now fixed, but you may need to reboot to see it reflected in-game. We have also slightly increased the number of Toothy Tortes that will appear in the Bloodweb.
We know players encountered different issues when playing the Black Banquet Event, and we wouldn't want you to leave the feast still hungry. We'll be providing 5M Bloodpoints to all players, redeemable in your in-game inbox. Thank you for your patience as we worked on these issues, and we hope to see you in The Fog!

I'm getting cakes at a similar rate on both my survivor and killer. I hardly feel like there's much of a difference in rates with the items just taking other rarity slots.

I am just saying this I played four killer matches today with all different killers. I manually used my bloodpoints that were all about 150-200k per match. Of those four killers three got three cakes with those bloodpoints and one got only one. So have to admit I don't see a much of a problem if you can get three after one match and even if use one next match you are still going to be gaining about 1-3 cakes more every match.

Like I can believe that automation is screwing people off but that is literally what it does anyway. Its main point is that it takes cheapers from the middle onwards and as the cakes are Very Rare level they don't usually spawn close to the center. So when they use the auto level features they are missing most of the cakes they could get because they are at the edges.

I mean i do want the cakes but honestly its fine without them.

It has never been a problem during previous years. So why would they change it now?
And you are absolutely right about this decision is more discouraging than helpful for player engagement. We grind enough for Bloody Party Streamers as it is. The cakes used to help a lot in making the grind tolerable, and to be honest, shareable BP offerings are a blessing. I really don't like the personal ones, because sharing is caring. And caring is positive.

You never see killers bringing bloody party streamers it feels like. There’s not much of a point unlike survivor where you might queue with some friends and wanna help them out. If killers ever bring anything that benefits survivors it’s anniversary cakes, because they’re so common. Now they get maybe 1/5 of what they normally would, which hurts survivors more than killers since pudding offerings are only uncommon rarity and not terribly hard to get.

Like also the fact is that I feel like the Very Rare rarity makes the cakes more likely to appear on bloodweb. My reasoning is because there is only about six Very Rare offerings on both sides. There is about 11 offerings on the common level so to me it makes it more likely to see the event offering to appear on the Very Rare offering slot on bloodweb than its chance to appear on the common offering slot because there is more possible offerings to appear on that Common slot than there is on the Very Rare one.

Still it might get balanced by there being more common offering spot on bloodwebs but I don't have data on that.

It wasn't that uncommon to see 2-3 cakes per level in the previous years.

I see it happen ever so often. Killer players can be generous as well.
I for one rarely queue without a Party Streamer (or cakes when I have them), because I know the hardship of the endless grind in this game.

Previously cakes and event items were "event" rarity so the % chance for nodes on the bloodweb was separate from common rarity nodes even though they were same BP amount. Its how they were able to adjust the frequency of the event items/offerings appearing in the web.

Banquet Flashlight: “hey guys, I’m rare and special!”

Uncommon Flashlight: (same exact stats) “Am I a joke to you?”

Yeah i always brought cakes even if i dont get any extra benefit so everyone else gets more BP. Getting virtually no cakes in comparison means im not going to bring them as they are more scarce so its 4/5 players in the lobby that lose out not killers.

I spent 4 million bp then stopped just in case they take pity on us in the coming days

So business as usual then. 😖 To piggyback for a moment, I'm really disappointed with the amount of Rift Fragments too. I thought the event would be a game changer for the Rift, but it makes more sense to play dailies in 1v4 instead.

The event items are special in that they have different visuals than the base items or do some effect when you use them.

Yeah I was seeing only a couple per match, so one match i didn't bring one and everyone else did. I felt so bad lol

The biggest problem - even if they fix this, BIG if, we've already spent the 10m, the BP rewards for the event are laughable and they never fix stuff promptly (I'd guess mid July, or a few days before the event ends) so we'll only have a few days to get cakes.

Honestly, this doesn’t bother me, probably because I rarely have extra cakes left over since I don’t usually play much during events, and I’ve gotten a decent amount so far. I can see why people are upset though. This is the 10th anniversary, and it does feel a bit stingy of them. It should be a huge celebration with tons of BPs.

Probably after the event ends so they can claim ignorance but still get the result they wanted.

It's been exactly 24 hours since the event released. Have they fixed it yet, or even said anything about it?

Was there any update on any other platform yet?

It's terrible. In 2024 you would have gotten 180 cakes from playing literally 2-3 hours.

It feels so bad to play now. I genuinely was gonna play so much for the cakes and items but I haven't played at all, knowing it's bugged/possibly intentionally nerfed.

Let's hope they patch it today, because if they don't then it'll be next week before it's fixed. There'd better be compensation!

Give it up for 26.5 hours since the event launched and we still have NOTHING meaningful or tangible from BHVR.

We are so past the need of "We're investigating the awful, greedy, shrinkflating decision we made regarding Cakes… Stay Tuned!"

Please, just change the rarity and bump up the frequency. Each day that this goes on for is another day of increasingly more livid players.

We should have seen this coming I guess. I remember they released a video where they were saying they wanted the Halloween event to be the big bloodpoint event of the game (I think it was the Halloween event, I could be wrong though, it was definitely a seasonal event though).

That doesn't make it okay though. I'm very disappointed I spent all those BP they gave us and the return was a tiny amount of cakes. Why do I play this game? I must be crazy because I keep getting coming back despite the same results over and over.

Didnt they make the halloween event offering personal use only kinda thing though. I really don't understand why these big events can't all be shared bloodpoint offerings. You can't even use the offerings outside the events, other than the anniversary cakes.

Seems to me that they really want to get away with this nonsensical greed. There's genuinely nothing for them to gain by limiting cake... Besides terrible PR and an upset community at the absolute worst time for it. It's entirely illogical to let this go on and not increase the drop chance, there's too many characters to level not to mention the BP cap which shouldn't exist in the first place. I refuse to believe that anni cakes are going to make any significant change in player levels across the community. At the very least I'd like to hear a real good explanation from BHVr as to why they feel it necessary to limit cake beyond (paraphrasing here) "We don't want people to have tons of them after the event" we know, we heard you but WHY?

It truly is aggravating because I've had Dustin and Eleven and Tae-Young all at P6 with the sole intent of getting them to P10 this anniversary to bank Cakes on them as an INCENTIVE to play them more. Now, I am starting my next P100 early because Cakes are irrelevant on a character that'll ultimately get at least 150+ BPS. It's a free currency that is strictly for progression and we have dozens upon dozens of characters. Why do we feel the need to make the grind WORSE? ESPECIALLY during the 10th year celebration?

I didn't play the game during last year anniversary and I was actually looking forward to this event together with my friends. The cakes situation simply made me close the game upon spending part of my points to see the abysmal drop rate and not open it until it's hopefully fixed.

I hope my stubbornness actually pays off (since I might have used 10 mln bloodpoints code before together with my friends and now we are sitting on a lot of bloodpoints unsure whatever it's worth to wait or just spend what we have and give up on the event). If we are to get significant cake drop rate boost I honestly don't even mind waiting a week (I do) as long as I can get actual cake value of out the bloodpoints.

Can anyone tell me how long it took for them to fix the cakes in the past or at least acknowledge the actual problem itself and say they will fix it (not investigating/looking into it message but actual statement on their stance/plans)?
