Hens Jason Kill streak
This guy is currently on a 193 match Kill streak with Jason running Ruin + Thirll of the hunt.
This is some brain dead garbage.

Guys, Jason is totally not broken. Being able to go on winstreaks for more than a hundred games is totally fair and shows how well designed they are.
22 -
Fog/mist should have a timer and a cooldown…..
15 -
No, that's not even close to the issue with him. He needs to have the haste removed fully, no longer be able to see people in the mist if they are working on an objective, and remove or drastically reduce the scrap piles so that he can't just reload everywhere because being able to reload at every loop due to the insane hook density and scrap piles are far too much.
15 -
I mean people are doing this on even 'D-tier' killers so at this point its really hard to discuss killer balance.
I still maintain these changes for Jason:
-Remove 'potential' pallet spawn points being a thing, I have no idea why Xeno and Springtrap have limitations to their power but Jason can TP pretty much anywhere, it's dumb.
-Increase animation for reloading or reduce reload spots, him using his power 4+ times in a chase without losing any distance makes him too easy-Time limit on OE and remove the info denial delay, you should never scream whilst crouched or in a locker. Hell I'd say standing still should counter the power as well.
-Haste cut in half, exhaustion cut in half.
Maybe all of these would be overkill, but I'd at least like to see three of them.18 -
Oh, all those survivors are just bad at the game. Kek
Meanwhile, a player didn't have to spend more than only a few days to do that.
11 -
Winstreaks are really not an accurate measure of a killer being broken given that the definition of a winstreak is up to the person doing it. On top of that, matchmaking is more often the main factor by creating these mismatched lobbies.
-16 -
After playing as and against Jason a lot, at this point I'm of the opinion that his main problem is the Thrill/Ruin build. Which, hey, that appears to be what Hens is running
23 -
Lemme guess, you thought blight was fine too?
7 -
my goat did this exact thing with The Henry when he came out
maybe thrill needs to be reverted to the pre Artist version
18 -
BHVR need to just hurry up and tighten MMR. Having to play against competent survivors will end those kill streaks quick.
13 -
Maybe we could have a more accurate MMR if we didn't split the que for some event every other week?
Especially now that you can play while you wait.
1 -
You would think so but I honestly doubt even most high-mmr SWF's would be at the level of a comp streamer. They might also not do it because it'd hurt their bottom line as content creators would have super long queues and would most likely resort to smurfing to keep the content flowing.
I'd imagine BHVR is more likely to nerf the killer/perks instead.10 -
the one time I enjoyed mmr was when dowsey had 2 hour queues so we can't have that
13 -
Yeah, "end them" might have been too wishful. I'd hope it would at least make them a bit harder to achieve, and therefore less appealing. Steamrolling new or less experienced players for content has never sat right with me.
11 -
jason is fine, the only change needed to him is deputy badge. thril and ruin need changes though.
I swear if you just crouch the entire time its no wonder you guys are losing to him. Omnipresent evil is more than fine especially considering he cant even damage you coming out of it like wraith or spirit.
-26 -
tbh only thing i dont understand is why does game spawn broken pallets as teleport location from him, i do not remember lockers number being increased if dredge is in a match, and lockers are already far worse spawn. Thats just unfair.
Everything else is fine, it takes some time to wind up spear, eventually survivors will start playing around it. Deputy badge is actually mid and most overrated addon ever, every experienced surv knows how to hit those skill checks. Only problematic thing with it is that there are way too much spawn locations right next to generator which guarantees hit unless survivor has sprint burst
6 -
Okay limit locations he can spawn from but in return completely remove the crouch counterplay.
-23 -
It's not the spawn locations. It's the unlimimted timer that allows him to always find an advantageous target and if he can't, just return to the hook. There is no decision to make with OE because it's unlimited.
9 -
jason already has ton of information and mobility in his basekit, imagine how much time you win if survivors crouch between generators or even not doing them to hide.
0 -
once again his unlimited timer isn’t a problem. No ones complaining about dracula’s far superior bat form. The problem is the majority of survivors think “ counter play is crouch” when it is only partially true.
Me and my duo haven’t lost to a jason in days, because we know that someone has to be bait so you set your self up in an advantageous position. Then you just dodge him like you would any other ranged killer. He is like dracula in that he can’t flick his spear like his ranged counterparts.
Jason is b to high b tier. Hens is just one of the best killer players using a busted perk combo.
-14 -
you win exactly no time because the survivors are hiding and you’re in power and can’t see them. That is what we call a stalemate. He doesn’t get a chase and survivors do not complete gens.
I’ll go further and say survivors who just try to crouch his power and jasons that stay in power are both bad players who don’t know what they’re doing.
-15 -
Daculas bat borm you can see coming, that means the average survivor will still stay on gen. I understand that someone should take the aggro by staying on gen but, if you have a guy hooked, a guy saving, and injured survivors… in solo, most likely he just pulled EVEYONE off gens, they are regressing to Ruin and nobody knows where he's going even the guy on the hook, Comms does nothing.
5 -
again you see what the problem is, its ruin.
-12 -
i dont get your argument lol, yeah if everyone crouch and aren't doing gens he can just go out of his power and look for them
3 -
If we are balancing around SWF, Solo is in big trouble…
9 -
then he’s not in power and people can do gens? Maybe you should ponder it a little harder.
If everyone is crouch teching jasons power, jason isn’t chasing/downing/hooking anyone. Neither jason nor the survivors are progressing the game, that is what we call a stalemate.
If jason isn’t in power, survivors will hear him like any other killer. So what exactly is the problem?
-6 -
Jason doesn't really need any big nerfs. I genuinely just think Thrill is incredibly problematic.
-4 -
He doesn't need 25 seconds of haste + killer instinct + bs exhaustion add on + turn back the clock add on + infinite mobility + infinite information + zero reload slowdown on top of starting every chase with a massive advantage and a potent ranged attack. Holy handholding BHVR
13 -
People can do gens and totems for 12 seconds before he leaves chase with the person that took the chase because they are leaving the prime area, Ruin regresses all progress, progress on totems lost unless you stay on it in which case he will know you are their he will chase you for the 12 seconds before returning to OE making sure nobody is touching any of his prime objects with no way to tell how he is pathing around. its not a stalemate its Jason slowly and slowly grinding to a win by OE spamming.
Other killers can utilize thrill builds, but no other killers has this issue as they all have visual or audio ques that they are nearby (wraith, Spirt, Drac bat from, henry underground mode) or have set spawn points if they do not have normal pathing (dredge, spring trap onryo)
Trap killers who I think are more commonly associated with thrill builds can also be heard and traps can be disabled, causing them to have to set up again (singu, Trapper, Hag)8 -
once again ruin is the problem here, and guess what ruin is a bigger problem on other killers too. Its almost like we shouldn’t be nerfing killers when busted perk combos are the problem.
Ftp + buckle up was a problem and it was killed.
So should ruin + thrill
-11 -
I don't agree sorry, he is the problem, his kit is overloaded (buffs and debuffs, information, ranged attack and mobility galore) and people need to stop being in denial over it.
I'm so bored of the community not being self-aware.
Also sorry if this is rude but a Consultant should not be getting win streaks for content, this just feels like he is manipulating balance so he can get views at this point.14 -
self aware really? You guys need to stop being in denial about how omnipresent evil is worse than, wraiths uncloak, and dracula’s batform. It’s only better than spirit’s phase. None of you know what a stalemate is apparently and are just bad at the game.
-11 -
Why isn't everyone playing those then LMAO
No answer? Shut up.6 -
I'm actually mad at Hens for using that build on Jason because without it Jason legitimately is not as strong and people are not going to be nuanced enough to know that Jason is too strong with hexes, not by default.
-2 -
because they weren’t the most requested killer for 10 years? Hello? And you say we’re not self aware.
-4 -
I've been advocating for changes for not making a swift opinion on him until time settled, but playing against him casually for days on end, I'm at the point he has too many buffs and debuffs for a 12s cd and a ranged attack and gen regression.
If you can't have literacy for that, then I can't help you6 -
idk other than deputy badge i think he’s fine. I’ve escaped him more than he’s killed me. But i also play him too so i guess i know his weaknesses and strengths pretty well.
-11 -
I don't think the hexes are the issues, ruin and thrill have been in game as is for awhile now, Why was this not a common build before Jason and why is it only every Jason player using it at the moment?Even when I do see it on other killers the hexes are not that big of a deal and get cleaned or ignored, that is not the case for Jason when he is spamming OE because as I said in previous comment, their is no visual or audio ques, survivors are unable to track until he decides to come out of OE.
8 -
So you're literally saying he has stuff to nerf, exactly.
You just want an easy time4 -
i dont use deputies badge lol.
-9 -
Who cares, it's like saying you didn't play old blight with compound… want a medal?
11 -
i didn’t play blight period.
maybe try playing a killer before you talk about balance.-14 -
I literally main Unknown and Trickster huh
I just don't feel Jason should power creep every other killer9 -
this player base is cooked if they actually believe this.
-8 -
slinger doesn’t have to do anything to reload, springtrap just summons his axe back mid chase. Guess they’re braindead.
OE form isn’t that strong it also has the strongest anti camp punishment in the game. It also has one of the strongest and easiest hard counters in the game just crouch.
Jason is b tier maybe b+ he isn’t even a tier and yall still refuse to learn.
-6 -
Survivor mains on their epic journy to nerf every new killer and then complain why facing only the same 3 top tier killers over and over again 😂
-4 -
nah, i play jason because i’ve wanted him in the game since i started playing. Like majority of the people playing him right now. You can’t say this about jason. The most requested killer ever. You could about ghoul for sure, most of the playerbase never probably even heard of him. But jason, get your head out of the sand.
This entire topic is why im glad the devs ignore player feedback, its mostly brainrot.
-11 -
I don't believe why this is downvoted so much. It's spot on.
Knowing how wonky and inaccurate the matchmaking in DBD can be, stomping random public lobbies and calling that a winstreak is hardly worth noticing.
Even that Blight guy folded like wet cardboard when he finally faced a team ready to stop him.
Let's see if Hens is able to consistently win against a few fully coordinated teams on comms with no perk restrictions. 10 games in a row.
Then I'll be impressed.2 -
I’m sorry.
But if you really play these killers you mentioned, you would have the knowledge that these killers are not that good against good teams.
You should try to stop looking into why jason has power creeped everyone in the game and starts to realize why the past killers aren’t like Jason.
Every killer needs what Jason has, great mobility, good anti loop and good snowball potential.
If any killer does not have a bit of any this I mentioned before, the killer is automatically B tier at max.
Let’s tale a look at springtrap, the killer where everyone compares with Jason, that’s a valid point to spot, since both are almost identical, but what Jason has the most that Springtrap does lack of, great mobility, Springtrap’s mobility is set at the start of the match, and survivors can pre run him when he decides to use it, making W holding very effective, and lets be honest, his axe is bad, it’s a ranged attack but with a limit on the range, he can’t hit people cross map like Jason, and grabbing people with the axe is almost impossible and borderline useless.
In my opinion people should not try to get Jason nerfed and make him like what they did with Vecna 2, people should focus buffs on the weaker killers that jason power creeped and try to reduced the gap between bad and strong killers.
OBS: nuke thrill of the hunt, this perk alone is causing more problems than Jason alone.
-5 -
Jason could use some nerfs for sure, but I don't think win streaks prove a great deal beyond the fact that to most of the player base DBD is a casual game with no ranked mode and some extremely loose match making.
Hens plays this game for a living and is playing to win. No doubt he could go on a respectable win streak with pretty much any Killer against a lobby of average players. Most of his opponents probably don't have even a 10th of his hours and are just playing for fun. A top DBD player doing a win streak in our game is like Magnus Carlsen turning up to an afternoon game of chess at a retirement home and completely destroying his opponents in less than 10 moves.
Personally, I was against making Blight 110% because most Blights are not that skilled with his power. I think all that particular nerf to him achieved was to discourage Killer players from playing him at mid and low MMR. Jason is a lot easier to play as than Blight, but I don't think a Killer that is strong in high level play is necessarily all that strong for an average skill level player. When they come to nerf Jason, I think BHVR should be careful not to make him feel too punishing to play as for the Killer players who are less skilled with his power.
