the reason for that is gen slow down perks give killers more mistakes with out slow down you cant make many mistakes while with it gives you more breathing room this game is an attack and defend game the survivors attack while the killer defends. time is the real resourse and why exostion perks are so busted because it can double to tripple the chase time same reason pallet dencity was not a quality of life change it was a buff to survivors and a nerf to killer sense pallets buy time for the survivors while wasting the killers time.

Its argueable... Sure you could bring a slowdown perk to extend the match, but you could also end the chase faster with something like Coup de grace or shorten the time you spend looking for your next chase with a tracking perk. Gen slowdown isn't the only way to win the war on time.

I've literally seen people comment about how they lose it because of tbagging at the gates. What's disingenuous is you adding more to the statement and acting like I said that any harassment is okay, while ignoring my advice on mediating such harrassment. People do get upset at tbagging, and for you to say that it doesn't is ignorant. I've seen countless comments and threads specifically complaining about tbagging, and how it should be punished heavily.

So yes, people have shown that they can't handle tbagging. That doesn't mean I'm ignoring that other harassment happens, nor should it be acceptable.

Killer addons are the reason the game is so unbalanced.

A, the power difference between killers with and without addons is huge and is the reason why kill rates often don't indicate the strength of the killer without. E.G. Trapper with his strongest addons is a viable killer, Trapper without is not.

B, They cause way too much variance when it comes to balancing perks and killer powers, e.g. Wraith, Serpent soot and turn back the clock

    C. They cause huge power difference between new and older players. Where the new players are actively disadvantaged against because they have not stockpiled 30 eggs on Wesker while the older players have enough to make it to the next event.

For those of you who have shared your perspective on feeling anxiety around your role in here, I really appreciate your openness to share! Friction like this isn't a monolith, so it's always helpful to get your individual thoughts and I don't want you to feel like those feelings aren't being heard. Some really solid points were brought up, which I'll be sure to pass along!

Ghoul was actually one of the Killers I voted to be added to 2V8. I confess that my motivations were at least a little bit mischievous because I think the community's reaction would be hilarious if they somehow made it in. But I do genuinely think they would be fun to play and easy to add to the mode and I see can no reason why BHVR shouldn't.

I'd personally take facing a Ghoul over a Wesker or Oni in 2V8 any day of the week.
