Question about the Jason anti-camp buff
so in today’s 10.0.3 patch, Jason got a buff that removed his anti-camp jump scare penalty if it’s on a different floor than the hooked survivor. Does that mean if a survivor is hooked under a 2nd floor window (like the one at mid map RPD or the hook in Main room on Lery’s) Jason can just tp to the window above them and get 0 anti-camp penalties?
I seriously hope the devs thought that through because that would just make him 10x better at returning to the hook at those maps which he already does 10x better than the average killer.

I believe he can now camp basetment easily, yet again useless changes

Pretty sure they didnt think it through. Assuming basement registers as a lower floor, he's about to be one of the number one basement campers on top of being an overbearing tunneler and hex nightmare.

meanwhile basekit deliverance exists

What lmfao

taking an offering for a 4% chance isn't basekit

I mean you read the sentence and immediately can visualise 20 different locations he can just click on and race to the hook. Really this just encourages more brainless back-to-hook gameplay. Even with the super slow-down half the Jasons are turning up at the hook anyway. It really sounds like the devs are too scared of backlash and we will have to wait months before Jason will take any skill to play.
Also the Toxic Waste buff, is there even a place on the map that is not within 10m of a hook or scrap pile?

Bro probably hung around the Hook way too long multiple times and let Survivors get themselves unhooked for free. Because it is hard to proxycamp 16m away.
17 -
I believe it does which makes this quite broken if its true because jason is actualy very good at deffending escape from basement he can like wesker hit two survviors and cause to second one deep wound but most important his spear pushes you backwards so your speed boost wont help you get away from basement stairs unless he misses.
I think anyone playing this game for some time knows devs kinda miss many things and it still looks nowdays like they dont even play their game.

Doesnt change the fact that if survivors all take luck offering and some perks a swf can basicaly have all guarantee unhook which totaly kills killers preasure and especialy the weaker killers one. I believe it hasnt been nerfed till today just people rather run full meta build like ds,dh,shoulder plus another strong perk.

Thx for your valuable input.

Luck no longer stacks. It was nerfed wiith diminishing returns.
15 -
Plus bringing a full build around unhooking yourself would not be "Basekit Deliverance".
14 -
Yeah at full maximum it used to be 55% chance per unhook attempt. Now it is around 16%. Not saying that it wasn't a bit crazy at 55% but it was just an occasional fun or meme build.
10 -
Yeah, this is a bad idea. I get the intention behind the change but this creates a worse problem.
13 -
yay now we can add multiple floor camping as another issue with OE as If OE was not enough of a problem with how spamable it is.
13 -
Of course they saw all the problems and complaints, and then tunnel visioned on the one thing that would make everything worse and decided to implement that without a second thought for the reprecussions.

the anti-face camp meter, are you guys serious?
-8 -
They just need to rework the anti-camp system in regards to killer powers. It's not streamlined, unreliable and does outright not serve it's purpose.
2 -
Why do you think the anti-camp meter was added in the first place?
5 -
because survivors refuse to adapt. instead of doing gens they just stood around hook. ive had survivor teams that worked together and got a 4 man escape while I camped before the anti-face camp change, as Knight btw

Back before the nerf it would, it make everyone savethemself or the odds for this were very high.
If you dont think everyone unhooking themself is good then you are kinda wrong because killer needs preasure buildup and hooking does that but survivor that can save himself and doesnt need any help kinda kills that.

Bringing a full Build is not "Basekit anything". Or do you say Killers have Basekit Pain Resonance if they bring the Perk?
I mean, at this point you are just writing to disagree, you HAVE to know that you are wrong.

The main issue with full luck build was that it would make every survivor save themselfs which is huge and second main issue was that this build would only be done by swf not soloq which makes it even stronger because soloq does lack the potencial of using startegy or working out some plan.
So Im wrong with what exactly, that I havent wrote word basekit anywhere in comment on which you reacted you and you are construting here something as always?
Or that full luck build was very strong because it was used by swf and killed killers preasure??
Only thing I got wrong is that I forget that diminishing returns killed it (which is good), thats it.
Thx for your valuable input.Seems this works for you aswell.

You not adapting to anti-camp is refusing to adapt no? lol
3 -
I have adapted, where did I say I still camp?
-2 -
The anticamp feature compleatly changed the way many killers play today, camping is rare and only few killers do it.
Mosstly people call camping when they havent saved their teammate and killer had no one so he came back to secure the second satge which is mostly survviors fault because theres 70 seconds to get the save before the second stage unless the killer was around hook all the time but thats rare.

Yes this made drop windows and basement against Jason pretty rough. I don't understand it, but you know… Skull Merchant is op, don't forget.
