Doing what BHVR won't do.

Scott Jund fixed 20 of the worst unused Perks in the game in several hours with his brain and community chat.

Fixing the forgotten Perks that nobody uses seems like the obvious way to mix up metas and keep the game fresh. It should be a part of any major update.

I don't understand the argument here? Don't try to fix bad perks that nobody uses?

lmao those ideas are mid, I won't use them if they are not strong enough like was with cross exam that got nerfed to the ground, and don't forget scott is a killer main he suggested stronger killer perk changes than survs there

What this shows more than anything is how easy and resource-light it would be to make these kind of changes on a regular basis to maybe not shake up the meta but at least make considerable improvements in the match-to-match variety in perks and playstyles. One guy can do this in his spare time while somehow the entire BHVR company doesn’t have the resources to do it? It’s clear that it’s not a lack of resources but a lack of interest on BHVR’s part.

They need to neef the top perks or nothing will change.

They've already been buffing bad perks but it doesnt make a difference as long as meta remains meta.

metaslaves gonna meta but I don't care about them. I care about what I like. BHVR buffed a bunch of cool perks in the AoT update and I want them to do it again.

Nerfing the top won't make my garbage any better. The idea of NOLB is one of my favourites for survivor and all BHVR did was change it's activation requirement from "open exit gates" to "power the exit gates" and that suddenly changed the entire perk dynamic. Still terrible arguably, but it fulfills it's niche and fantasy perfectly. Trying to get value out of that keeps me invested and engaged.

He created two best trolling invocations ever, I was acutally laughing. :D One of his invocations made it so survivors can unhook themselves but invocator is broken, injured and has two hooks. So by the time you do the invocation one or two survivors might already be hooked and you gonna be dead on hook. How is that even an idea for survivor perk? :D

He buffed treacherous crows by crows landing faster, like cmon. It's 2s and killer will less likely to scare crow then survivor.

I'd offer nice rework to treacherous crows with aura duration buff, survivor immunity to scare crows and permanent oblivious to invocator. It would still be bad if ever used perk but cmon, make invocations better and add some more. Every mechanic like light marks, invocations, teamworks, boons, compromised gens are pretty bad and might change fun element of the game.

If you think off cross-examination nerf and complains, I believe that have of og perks would not be added in their current form because half the community will be crying about them. Imagine lucky break, devour hope or many other perks added today, impossible. It's the community choice to lament about everything rather than adding new meta eras. You hate exhasution - genetic limits, languid touch, mindbreaker… you hate hexes - counterforce, overzelaous… cmon, same meta is there for like 6 years.

I hate that perks get reworked, I mean I get it as the game changes something becomes obsolete, unviable or too strong, but I wish it was only ever buffs or nerfs so that the players didn't need to relearn a truck load of perks or effects.

I mean yeah. Adjusting bad perks so they find a nice niche is always a good idea.

I do miss the time they changed around 20 perks and created new metas but I think there are many other things to focus on like balancing maps, fixing weak killers no one plays etc. BHVR surely could rework weak perks better than a youtuber but everything has it's time.

They're too busy making changes no one asked for.
