So how was your Chaos Shuffle?

sorry if the links broken this sites picky and I'm old.
Survivor games were better than I thought. A sure lot of 4x flashlight shenanigans the killers sure had their work cut out for them. On killer, I knew in my very first match I'd roll Chatterers Tooth on Cenobite.(I rolled Chatterers Tooth)

I got Padded Jaws 3 times in a row on the first day of Chaos Shuffle. I logged off and haven't touched this dumpster fire since. BHVR tore that mask off 2 years ago, but now they're burning it and laughing at us.

Overall quite fun. I got a few laughs at some of my builds like no mither with adrenaline.
Always refreshing to get away from the stale meta when shuffle comes around.

that clip is just DBD in a nutshell lmao. In my experience, even though I'm a survivor main, I actually really enjoyed playing Springtrap and ended up playing killer for him whenever the queue times weren't too bad. I found myself winning maybe 80% of my games, when I occasionally go Freddy's Hat I'd often still win but it was annoying lmao. I played more killer despite being a survivor main because the survivor experience was awful. Sometimes it wouldn't be too bad, but sometimes someone, me or one of my teammates, would be tunneled or camped pretty much every game from 5 gens. Ironically it was often the strongest killers doing so

chaos shuffle in my experience has had a little more tunnelling.
i've also noticed that the pre-game and end-game chats are in significantly higher spirits. back to back lobbies all night of people making jokes, laughing at some of these godawful builds, expressing our condolences to our opponents for getting meme addons or no mither (shout outs to the nurse who got BOTH of her meme addons, i'm so sorry bestie), and doing bits in the middle of the match. honestly i feel like this mode brings out a seperate dbd community that actually wants to play the game itself and maybe doesn't care so much about winning, and the vibes are intoxicatingly good. i wish i could choose to play only with players like this from now on.
it just so happens that chaos shuffle seems to be a mode that filters out the toxic sweats from both sides.
it makes me wish they would do something about toxicity, nasty behaviour, and people being rude in endgame chat. bhvr likes to say the dbd community is good but i think it's drowning in bad actors that spoil things for others. i wish that they would moderate it better, and that means doing something about tbagging, humping, hook farming, endgame chat toxicity, etc.
loved the clip, it's super funny lmao. all of my favourite moments are when someone embarasses themself and then runs away.

A mixed result as killer and absolutely abysmal survivor matches tonight - how do all 3 of my solo queue teammates keep going down within the first 2 minutes of a match on multiple matches?! It's basically a guaranteed loss from the get go as it's so difficult to pull it back when they aren't helping themselves…

3 times? I'm really sorry to hear that that's rough

10 out of 10. Played 50/50 and got some great, hilarious and entertaining matches out of it. I love chaos Shuffle because as killer I’m not seeing shoulder the burden and 4 ds + plot twist and as surv I swear the killer variety I went up against was amazing. I dunno if that second point is my specific, limited experience or if anyone else is noticing a larger variety of killers going being played in this event.
TLDR; extended Chaos Shuffle and shove 2V8 <3

I didn't play it as killer. I can't be dealing with those random add-ons. I only played 23 matches of it on survivor. I didn't have the chill time a lot of people seemed to. My matches were as sweaty as ever. Funny enough, my 30-day ER for both Chaos Shuffle and standard are almost identical which I didn't expect.
Always nice to see friendly clips too. Best thing that happens in ths game.

I've had a good time overall but today, not so much. Half my matches were abandons when the Killer slugged the team or for the 4K and I only escaped 1 game in 10 (a lucky hatch spawn. The Entity must have felt sorry for me).
Shame I had to finish on such a low because I'll miss it going away so soon. Ah well, nevermind.
I didn't play much Killer this time around because I like to be able to see where I'm going. Chaos Shuffle as it currently stands is a beamer squad's dream. So thanks but no thanks to that, BHVR. I'm good.

Overall, I've had a fun time. I don't take these alt game modes THAT seriously; if you've ever seen any of my takes on alt modes, you'd notice a pattern: the only thing I really want is to not be out of the match before it really started (if I'm survivor) and for pure, unadulterated chaos. Even got mad when Legion was removed from 2v8 (but that's a different story).
Honestly, to me the only thing that could make chaos shuffle more fun is also random offerings. Like seriously, I want all in on the randomized chaos. There has only been one match during this time that actually annoyed me, and it was because a Huntress hard tunneled me out at 5 gens, like would literally drop chase with a survivor and come find me whenever I got off hook. Every other match has been interesting, and I get to try and use perks I don't usually get to, which is why I like the mode to begin with.

I played about 40 matches each on both roles. Overall it was good - towards the end there seemed to be more tunnelling/slugging though. As killer it was sometimes annoying since a lot of survivors brought flashlights, but mostly it just helped me practice avoiding flashlight saves.
I had one match where a Jason fell for Mirrored Illusion like 5 times in a row, that was funny 😅
Unfortunate combos: On survivor I got No Mither + Deadline; on killer I got Rapid + Beast of Prey 🤷♂️
