More specifically, tunneling needs to be addressed (because the difference between hard tunneling someone out from early in the game and not is massive) and Shoulder the Burden should be nerfed, but specifically to not work in 2-1-1-0 hook scenarios.

StB is supposed to be an anti-tunnel perk, and tunneling is literally the strongest thing in the game (granted you have a strong killer ironically). It should stay very powerful at anti-tunnel while not working to completely dissipate a killer's pressure when they've already hooked other people (or StB has been used once or twice already).

Having StB deactivate as soon as anyone else uses it hurts solo queue way more, aka the survivors who need powerful anti-tunnel more. The double duration of vulnerability also makes it unusable for solo queue, as you can't rely on your teammates to try and help you not become the killer's next meal.

STB needs changes to address SWF hook shuffling,

but I dont want to call for nerfs if its nerfs like the one BHVR is serving us.

This option does not mean I like the nerf chosen for StB nor does it mean I think every 'tunnel' is necessarily bad for the game.

On StB, when it gets popped late-game, it can turn a relatively close game into a lost game. You can argue it's a skill issue that the killer did not force its use sooner, but in an ideal world, the killer shouldn't be forcing StB early game and games should be down to the wire. I feel StB turns games that should be close calls into 4-outs, which is where a lot of the displeasure comes from. I'm not sure it's as unhealthy as some people claim, and I'm not sure of the solution because I like the basic idea, but don't know how best to apply it.

Tunneling sucks early game. It's boring for pretty much everyone, ruins the 'vibe' and results in no one really being happy. Entering a match with the intent to do this from the top is probably less fun for the killer too, because you end up ignoring so much of the decision making that goes into playing killer, and render the game a prolonged cleanup if the tunnel is successful, as opposed to a real challenge. However, there are cases where it's a valid, incidental strategy, so making it overly punishing in all circumstances will just remove player agency, something that I agree with BHVR is very important.

Idk, I'd like for unhook protections to scale up massively if a survivor is hooked twice in a row with no one hooked inbetween. Not like you'd want to use them offensively as you'd be on death hook. That would at least force some obligatory hook spreading. It also means you can 'tactically' tunnel someone who already has a hook state, provided you've hooked someone else first, so it's not removed as an option entirely.
