Best Trapper builds???

Does anyone have any meta trapper builds that they could share? I’ve been thinking Spirit Fury, Enduring, Ruin and BBQ&C, however I’m not sure if I should swap one of the perks for NOED, or something else.

The only bad perk in your build for trapper is BBQ, you don't need it with him and NOED would be far better.

Enduring spirit fury combo is very valuable and trapper needs early game pressure to set his traps up. Ruin is not only a good choice but the only choice you have for that.

You can try Corrupt Intervention. It gives you some time to build up your Setup by blocking 3 Gens for you.

BBQ is indeed not really useful on Trapper, it is nice for the Bonus BP, but the Aura Reading does not help that much.

you listed the perfect build already. you have an info perk, a slow down the game perk, and a combo to help deal with loops

Play Hag, better version of Trapper.

I'm running the same build like you and did pretty good back then

Enduring + Spirit fury + Brutal strength + NOED. Break every pallet in the map and kick every gen.

    Good luck with MoM

I'd consider replacing BBQ with Whispers.

Also, with Trapper you want to focus on a specific area of the map mostly around your Ruin so you're probably not going to break lots of pallets everywhere.

Place traps that stop the big loops in your area before survivors can use them, then you won't require perks like Spirit Fury and Enduring. Throw in NOED for the lategame.

Situationally, you can consider Agitation to make sure to be able to hook survivors in your area.

Monitor & Abuse is also not bad, generally a very underrated perk. It allows you to remain unnoticed even when placing traps relatively close to survivors . It also allows you to get 8 meters closer to the Survivors before they hear the heartbeat (which is usually the final indicator for them to start running). Being able to start a chase 8 meters closer means you cut the chase by 13 seconds, as that's the time required to catch up those 8 meters.

Pop Goes The Weasel can also be very helpful towards the end of the match when your 3-4 gen strat starts to kick in and Survivors are forced to repair YOUR gens.

Thank you all for your suggestion so far! I’m now leaning towards Ruin, Spirit Fury, Enduring and Whispers/NOED. Thoughts?
