Reverse Bear Trap buff ideas.

  1. Bear Traps start counting down if they are applied AT ANY TIME AFTER a Generator has been repaired. Making them count down only after a gen’s been repaired post-application is just stupid.
  2. Bear Traps automatically kill Survivors who attempt to escape through the black lock.

I get they help stop gen rushing by giving Survs a different objective, but considering they don’t feel nearly as urgent or powerful as they ought to be that strength is weak at best.

    As a Pig main in rank 4 no. The traps, despite having the ability to kill, are not meant to be used for that purpose. They are meant to function like Ruin or Lullaby and slow generator progression. Making them do as you want with them active no matter what once a generator complete only slows down the person with the trap not the others.

    As for black lock gotta say no on that too. If you're having that issue just pay attention to where it is and crouch on top of it. I'm dead serious when I say I have killed so many survivors because they try and shove me off the hatch while their timer ticks down.

    If there were a change perhaps maybe one extra trap by default but that's honestly all I'd want.

    I agree with not changing Reverse Bear Traps. I mostly play The Pig and she is already pretty strong. Her ability makes you have another objective to do and can cause status debuffs as well. A very strong ability, does not need to kill to be very effective.

    I mostly agree with the black lock. The other one is eventually more debatable. Hard to tell considering I didn't play Pig nearly enough to make sure.

    If she need a buff to bear traps would be making rule set no. 2 part of her base kit and making Huntress and thano affect boxes

    Only thing traps need is not letting people escape through the hatch with it on and also gens shouldnt appear till the trap is activated. The real buffs she needs is her crouch/ambush. Her crouch/ambush is complete trash in its current state. Her vision in crouch needs to be raised to the height shes actually at. Second, the roar with the charge needs to be gone, it completely defeats the purpose. Either that or make the roar cause exhaustion in a radius. The only people getting hit by her ambush right now are low ranks or idiots.
