I was wondering if the perk might be bugged on ps4? I've been using this perk consistently since the plague/Jane dlc dropped and it feels like it's broken? I feel like there are alot of times that I'll land the locker stun, and it won't trigger the stun/activate the perk. Does anyone else who uses Head On experience this?
Before you ask, I'm not referring to times where I'm exhausted, or before the 3 seconds to activate head on. It almost feels like the head on hitbox alters depending on ??? variable.
Sometimes I'll land Head On from farther distances than I'm expecting and other times it won't stun the killer directly in front of me haha.

It's good for SWF when one survivor goes down, and the killer is distracted, the downed survivor could crawl to a locker with someone with Head On inside, and once the killer picks the survivor up, it is completely safe to run out.
Probably one of the very few scenarios for what Head On is good for.

I have defintely landed these locker saves a handful of times already lol. I use Quick & Quiet so there are plenty of scenarios in game where I land Head On. I generally try and land atleast 3 per game but there are a bunch of times where I feel like I must have gotten him because he's right in front of me, and it doesn't work.

The range is really weird and the amount of things you have to do just to activate the perk doesn't really balance the short stun time. I think if they made the stun activate when you are jumping out of the locker instead of exiting it and make it a 4 second stun, it would be fine.

I'm sure someone else has witnessed what I'm referring too. I don't think I'm just using it incorrectly or anything. I'm pretty sure the window is bugged. I just fast vaulted in the same game, landing a head on from a very far distance (plague was runnging away from the locker I was in, about 2 steps away from me. And I landed head on.
In the same game, i slapped her with the locker moments before she was about to open the locker and head on didn't activate. I made sure to double check that I wasn't exhausted and the perk was lit up.

Basically, if theyre in front of the locker, at any point you rushed out of the locker, as soon as you land and regained control of your survivor, they will get stunned, no matter how far away they were when you landed. Its on activation, not when you land, thats what confuses people.

I don't think this is really correlated to the bugginess of the perk. I could be wrong but it just feels bugged, not like I'm miss using or miss timing the perk

This only just works once, after that the killer checks each time a locker located near the downed and you get caught too.

That depends, some killers do fall for the same trick twice haha. As long as Head On doesn't bug out (which it usually does when I land it more than once per game) I generally land Head On about 3 or 4 times per match.
I usually only have a locker save presented. Maaaybe once per game though, that isn't quite as common. Although the other day I saved a random with Head On that way, with absolutely no communication or coordination. I just saw he was being chased in an area and hopped in a locker just in time for him and the killer to round the corner and go down right in front of me based on total coincidence. It was amazing.

I can't read Head On anymore without my head saying "Apply directly to the forehead"

@OP I’ve only had it work in kyf on PS4. The killer was at a medium range from the locker, not too far and not too close.
