Hook Sabos need to be nerfed big time.
Have at thee, having to patrol generators is more than enough stress for a killer, count patrolling totems and it’s too much. So why do killers suffer an unwinnable game if survivors are sabotaging hooks while gens need to be kicked?
This is the whole reason I use hangman’s trick on everyone except legion, saboing every hook you can, and then running to a corner of the map in a chase so you can wiggle free every time is infuriating. And people wonder why I slug so much and then they cry to me about how unfair it is that I slugged them to death for four minutes after they sabo’d all the hooks.
I’m sorry but with the new rank system, survivors can deliberately do this to grief killers they don’t like. They also will cause a garuanteed de-pip for the killer.
Its an unwinnable scenario with absolutely zero counters. I don’t care if it isn’t permanent anymore, the timer for hook repair needs to either be shorter, or the max number of sabo’d hooks at one time needs to be decreased.
Theres no benefit to chasing hook connesuers. If you stop hustling the gens then you get rushed. There needs to be a downside of some sort other than “their location is revealed tho” because red rank killers in most situations with 3 gens left or less will NOT chase noise notifications unless they are VERY close to them.

booo... sabo squads are funny.
Just bleed them out on the ground and go after someone else.. or camp them on the ground.. but that is kind of pointless sometimes if they all come up and pull them off the ground. But hey.. then there is no one on gens.. bonus!
I'd take in Franklin's Demise instead of Hangman's Trick. Survivors will get more pissed if you knock their crap out of their hand and someone else picks it up.

Why not both?🤓

that’s all well and good but I am punished for slugging, not rewarded, therefore I am denied participation in my role as a killer by punks lol.

Slug them
Sabo has been nerfed twice. It really isn't that strong, nor common anymore.

and lose my pip for being forced to slug with no way to counter the current circumstances. I should never find myself in a situation where I am unable to get a survivor to a hook if I take the fastest route to said hook. Boil over and struggling are there for a reason.
Its only a problem when there’s no nearby hooks and I’m punished for slugging.

@DarkWo1f997 yee I hear ya. I don't care about rank anymore, the Devs made sure of that one.
I just play to mess with people most of the time anyways, more fun to play when you don't feel the pressure to out do the other side.
As long as I get the chance to get my BBQ stacks I'm good.
But why not just put on iron grasp and agi?.. throw them in the basement all the time.
I don't play in the high ranks so not sure how common those groups are, I don't see many in the rank 13 area.. I faced one last night, but found it fun cause I wasn't expecting them to break the hooks on me.

2016 called, it wants its sabo-squads back.

sabo is so often used like hope (literally nonexistent), no need in doing anything besides buffing sabo perk.

Complaining about Sabo in 2019...

You must remember that a Survivor cannot work on a generator and a hook at the same time. They could be cleansing totems, but they're not. they could be finishing generators that are extremely close to each other, but they are not.
I do agree that Franklin's removes a lot of potential for survivor toxicity with their items. Obviously they dont care about your fun going Sabo, so you should not care about theirs.
Depending on the killer you play, you can drop the survivor with little to no penalty, especially if you can apply a debuff to them on injury or down.

I've encountered exactly one Sabo squad and they were easy since they threw themselves in front of me to drop the hook. Also, wouldn't running Iron Grasp be better than running Hangman's Trick?
Also also, how does one encounter so many Sabo Squads that they run Hangman's trick on basically all their Killers? 😶

you serious?

And that's the games problem. But you sound like you care to much about pips.

The most saboing I see nowadays are solo players 99'ing a couple hooks or saboing a hook someone else is being chased at in the chance you down them, barely any different than any other type of save.
True sabo squads are extremely rare and Franklin's works wonders. You probably don't want to see a 4 man toolbox lobby regardless

Idk what kind of survivors you get but that never happens to me
2 -
It's not impossible to deal with, but your strategy needs to change in order to succeed.

Slug them. It takes 4 minutes to bleed out and 2 for a hook to come back. If you run Deerstalker and Nurse's you can just leave them on the ground as bait.
I came across sabo squads like 10 times ever. It's annoying but if you just slug them and find someone else you will still get hooks.

Hooks respawn so fast it's crazy hence I don't personally bother unless I have a ritual, most killers just drop who they're carrying and go on a revenge spree on those last second 99% hook sabo squads anyway. I have literally had this happen to me once, more likely you'll get baited or body blocked on the way to the hook than getting a hook sabo in your face now.

thank you for the intelligent reply. Contributing to the conversation is fantastic.

have you been a red rank killer since pipping got harder?
0 -
I am. Get to red ranks with the new pip system and you won’t believe how sweaty it is now compared to before.
PS, simple passive aggressive replies are annoying.

I’m allowed to care about pips. There’s a rank system and it’s a competitive game.

The problem isn’t their frequency, it’s that it’s possible. The hooks come back in 2 minutes? Well they can just sabo them again while I’m chasing someone. Everyone is missing the point. Btw are you going to stream again?

Let killers kick the hooks to reverse the sabotage progress
