Why do YOU facecamp?
Seriously, if you do that, I want to know why.
I teabagged behind a Legion facecamping my teammate (like straoght on FACEcamping) and I was teabagging behind him the whole time. It wasn't until he moved a little to "get a better angle" that he noticed me.
I wanna know what causes that level of NPC action.
I actually found it so funny, I didn't even care that he camped like that. He was that focused on... Nothing really.

More bait?

mad cuz they bad lul. there is no reason to do it really other than that. you lose points, you have 0 map pressure, and you will probably only kill that 1 person if the team doesnt have extreme sympathy and die trying to save the person being facecamped.
2 -
If you catch someone and immediately see 2 other people who do nothing for the entire time even tho they see and point at you entire time, why leave? You eliminate 1 person at price of 2 gens max. Its survivors who make it happen.

More like a reason to tell that anecdote.
Not everything is bait you know~ :3

I always feel like I won when I get face camped. It means I was hard to get and that most likely everyone else will escape.
1 -
Especially when the killer starts hitting you while you’re on the hook lmao best feeling ever tbh.
Being saved while being face camped and escaping is god tier. LOL!

If you know 1-2 other survivors are nearby trying to rescue, it's honestly not sure bad strategy since it's keeping multiple people busy and off gens. Yeah someone's out doing them but even if you're not face camping you can't keep every gen on lockdown. Obviously this isn't always the case though

Whenever Bubba has to enforce pallet looping prevention 101, Order 6971... or as any other killer if folks are still foolhardy enough to be swarming the hook like fruit flies. Why move away from the hook when you already see all the remaining survivors right there? Don't leave the orchard if you're trying to pick apples.

Sometimes I just feel like it or to blow off steam.
Like after a good Hag game but everyone escapes thanks to MoM.
Just go insidious bubba with BBQ, Agitation and of course NOED and just pick the most toxic survivor out of the group and bring him to the basement to have a serious talk with them.
Often others like to join as well, I am not exclude anyone so they can join his friend on the hook.
Some insist to join after all the gens are done and don't want to leave, so I happily oblige. After all I no monster and if you want to join the basement party instead of leaving, that's fine with me.
On average we end up with 3-4 group pictures on the hook.

How about we give killers the incentive to leave the hook instead of punishing them? You know... People are not gonna stop doing it if they get punished, camping has been nerfed a lot since the release of the game and it's still a thing...
1 -
You mean like showing auras of BBQ before they got universally nerfed by lockers?
Or perks like Hex: Devour Hope that gets cleansed before the first hook?
Only Make your Choice remains on top of my head...but paradoxically you want to leave to trigger it, but still be around to profit from it...so indirectly promotes longer range camping.
2 -
There's also the problem that all these anti camp perks are locked behind paywalls. Killers need to pay money(or in Devours case a ridiculous amount of shards) just for a subpar incentive to not camp .

I very rarely face camp. However I think the only time I'll face camp someone is if they're wearing Twitch streamer gear for a toxic streamer.
Example, yesterday I was running my skill check trainer build on Legion:
BBQ, Unnerving, Overwhelming, and Overcharge.
I was chill all game but then towards the end this Meg "gamer walks" to me and I then get to clearly see her shirt so I downed and camped her and let everyone else go.
I know full well that facecamping is a horrible idea as it wastes my time and points so I only rarely do it when I see someone announcing that they like a streamer that's toxic or I feel like playing more defensively.

I camp when, after I hook someone, I notice one or more survivors hidding (poorly) nearby or comming to the rescue out in the open. Sometimes they have no coordination so they just stand there pointing at me waiting for me to leave. Eventualy one of them loses their patience and come straight for the save. I just interrupt and leave them on the floor. The sacrifice is comepleted and no generator gets done.
Then comes the best part: The chat :-) Sometimes the survivor I sacrifice at the start of the match is waiting patiently for it to end so they can call me "camper" and other things. So much anger and salt I can almost taste it. I get a laugh, wish them good luck and move on.

I don't facecamp. I am merely making sure that the Survivor's shirt is on correctly. That takes a good minute or so.

If gates are powered, I will. Otherwise, I will almost never, unless something happens that triggers me.
0 -
I don't face camp it wastes to much time... Unless the gens are powered and I caught a survivor that just pissed me off throughout the match.
Edit: why am I getting a notification whenever someone comments on this thread?

@AChaoticKiller Did you accidentally bookmark it? If not, I don't know.

Because they want survs to disconnect

Mostly at the endgame when I want to secure the kill. Or they're just really altruistic and insta save so I take advantage of that
1 -
Either someone is being toxic or wants attention. When I say wants attention it’s when I’m chasing someone already but they want to be chased because they think they are oh so good since they can loop and throw pallets.
0 -
I Never Face camp but you know I'm going to do laps around the hook once those gates are open, There's not a single reason to leave in that scenario.
2 -
T-bag and I will enjoy your cosmetics on the hook
0 -
I don't *bing bongs away*
2 -
if the exit gate is open il camp or final gen pops if im not billy or nurse theirs no way id get across the map in time. plus this one guy behind each pallet throw/ stun kept teabagging plus was the obsession i partially ignored him but he made a mistake i downed him a second time when the final gen popped. safe to say i camped his ass. as the gate was open. so i got 2 kills that game. better than none.

Because they are in love with that survivor, it's quite sweet actually.

Will only face camp a toxic survivor. Tea bagger or sandbagger of their team mates.

Hook with survival facecamp: 95% slow down bleeding on the hook

I dont. Bores me as much as the person on the hook. Nuff said.

It really depends on the situation. While i do agree that full on facecamping is completely uncecessary and boring. It depends on the survivors actions towards the killer. If the survivor is tbagging and being very toxic towards the killer then i personally think they do deserve a facecamp to be taught a lesson. If they want to make the game unfun for the killer then the killer can also make the game unfun for the survivor. My solution is simply dont disrespect the killer and the killer wont disrespect you. But ifn the killer does it for no reason then yes i will agree thats completely wrong and unfair
