NOED and the Hatch.

Member Posts: 4,104

It has been revealed to us that in the next patch, closing the hatch instantly powers the gates.

Therefore, wouldn't closing the hatch instantly activate NOED?

Totems may actually become a secondary objective now because NOED, which is supposedly not getting changed, will be extra lethal now.

    Yes.

Yup that is how it should work.

Basically no more standoff, you get the hatch first or you lose, in this case you can still get a door to get out so not all is lost.

That's how it always should have been.

@Orion I know that totems have always been a secondary objective, part of me just thinks that suddenly these little bones will be taken much more seriously.

it's about time. As a solo survivor I get so mad at my team when they just walk by a totem and then NOED procs at end game.

That was mater of tine before this topic with noed pop up.

@Larcz If you think I'm calling for a NOED nerf, relax. I was just curious as to it's effects in the new end-game.

So it is time they also remove the ability the killer to catch the survivor on the hatch if he jumps first - which is what you just said - whoever get first to hatch should win now. I hope they don't forget to do that otherwise it will create a really stupid situation where the survivor has to run away from the hatch if the killer is after him cause he wil go after the hatch closing and the survivor can't do anything even though he found the hatch first obviously.

Another really strong suggestion is to remove the ability for killers to see the hatch before it is opened or this will create the situation where the killer hooks the 3rd person and run to the hatch cause he saw it and the dying animaton as we all know last FOREVER and it will be very easy to camp it until it is opened so he can close it

Also I wonder if adrenaline will also pop up if the hatch is closed.

The noed activation can be pretty bad if it happens very early. Even though I clear totems it just wont happen in the first 5 minetes of the game esp if its swamp or another big map so that may be a bit too much with the noed

I think we often see noed is broken like survs try make all totems in fear of noed. And when hatch will be open or gate work like old noed.

Hopefully once more survivors realize doing totems is important they will also realize that NOED isn't OP like they claim it to be as it should be nullified in almost every match and should only work vs new players. (not to bunch all survivors into this category, there are good ones out there ^.^)

NOED should be a powerful end game.

You clowns trash ruin usually in 1 minute or less... NOED directly counters gen rushing basically.

And NOED can be countered. The crying is like it is always going to be there. It can be prevented, and can be broken once activated.

    Give me a break people.
