Straight to the endgame!
In the Collapse preview video at around 0:32 it shows the collapse starting with only 1 gen done, and 4 survivors alive. So does this mean the killer can open the gate and start the Collapse at any time?
If so I can't wait to enter a game, immediately go into Collapse, then the killer has:
NOED + Blood Warden + Rancor + Bitter Murmur(if it procs on gates getting opened, otherwise free perk slot)

@Peanits Thanks for the clarification. Also just found the already answered questions in the original Collapse thread where it stated:
"CAN THE KILLER OPEN THE EXIT GATES AT ANY POINT IN THE TRIAL, OR ONLY ONCE THE GENERATORS ARE POWERED?
The Killer can only open the gates when the generators have been powered."

I assume it was just an oversight or an underestimation of how the community would dissect every little detail of the footage. xD

Oh it's definitely not out of the ordinary to make the assumption. Which is why I made it. Just glad to have it clarified by @Peanits
The amount of information we've got this week and all the responses from BHVR has been great. Live Q&A coming up and so many questions being asked that they have already posted some answers.... they have definitely heard the community on the "we want more info" message and are clearly making great communication improvements.
I'll gladly give them a pass for letting a little mistake slip into the preview video. ;D

Might wanna pass on that things like that might not be a good idea to include in future videos like this. It's caused so much confusion and misinformation to be spread.

not being rude or anything, but when the video is about the Endgame Collapse, people are definitely gonna look at the bottom left of the screen when the white text turns to bright red. i don't see why anyone wouldn't think that the killer could end the game early from the footage they released.

Thank goodness, May help to clarify that if killer closes hatch the gates are powered because I was about to say "well im never playing survivor if gens are blocked and hatch is closed you just wait to die". Also what about bodyblocking in the endgame? couldnt a killer just stand on the basement steps and wait for 3 people to pop when they have no counter play? (other then having deadhard and being injured)
