Killer Perks and Endgame Collapse
With the release of the proposed endgame collapse, I'm excited and intrigued as to what the devs may do to certain killer perks that involve the current endgame. Some perks are probably fine to stay the same such as NOED and Rancor, but other perks, specifically Bloodwarden (in my opinion) would probably need changing slightly so that it fit with the new endgame design.
Currently Bloodwarden tier 3 blocks of the exits for 60 seconds after hooking a survivor (and also shows survivor auras in exit gates)
This means that if the perk were triggered when there was less than 60 seconds left of the endgame timer and survivors were still in the match with the hatch closed, then they would all be guaranteed to die. (unless they had a key for the hatch which is unlikely) I do know hooked/downed survivors slow the timer, but this can still happen anyway if the timer is progressed enough.
There are pros and cons to keeping Bloodwarden the same or changing it, but I'm not sure if the devs will change it (or any killer perks) to better fit the endgame collapse, or keep them in as a brutal (but possibly needed) reminder that you should escape instead of waiting at the exits or in the map to torment or annoy the killer further. (however once again imo the endgame collapse on its own already does this)
What are other peoples opinions on this?

Agreed, it has to be changed or else the killer can slug a survivor until less than 1 minute, hook them then game over. It would feel more BS than NOED ever has

Maybe just disable the perk in the last 60 seconds of the Endgame timer

Maybe it's perfectly fine how it is. Killer slugged someone and is trying to wait? Slugged person crawls out a door. Three minutes is a LONG TIME in this game. If the killer is slugging to wait until the end for Blood Warden, LEAVE. It's common sense. Just because one person is slugged doesn't mean everyone else isn't able to leave. Stop acting like every single survivor has to escape. That's stupid.

Pulling a Blood Warden stunt of that kind sounds kinda hard. I am personally more interested on Remember Me. Considering how it currently lengthens opening gates to almost a whole minute with max stacks, I predict it will drastically change. Add to this either a high mobility Killer or defence type one (like Trapper), and you are pretty much guaranteed kills.

I dont think remember me needs to change, as im pretty sure the endgame timer only starts after the exit is open unless the hatch has been closed.

Maybe the timer of the end game collapse should pause during BloodWarden.

thats a good idea, but idk if they may think of something else or once again, they might not change it at all 🤔

Here's a better question...why the hell are survivors staying in the match for 2 of 3 minutes when blood warden only blocks for 1? , I swear these false arguments survivors are posting in mass about NOED and BLOOD WARDEN are amazing on how stretched they have to get for one..

I think if the killer slugs and doesn't hook anyone in 2 minutes it's safe to assume it's better to get the ######### out. Sometimes you have to leave the others to their doom.

I don't know It'll still be a very situational perk, blood warden is already hard to pull off, how the games played isn't going to change all that much.
I don't think the perk would need a nerf, It's one whole perk slot dedicated to blocking the gates for 1 of the 3+ minutes and you have to have the gates open already before hooking a survivor. Plus the timer will already slow down when the survivor is hooked or slugged.

In theory it changes nothing. You still have to wait the 60 seconds currently as the hatch is not opened in this current patch. So why would it make a difference too now. You just wait the sixty seconds and leave the with the extra 2 mins remaining.

Disagree. They said it goes slower if someone is downed or hooked. you would bleed out or crawl out by then.

Boi im a 50/50 survivor killer player. maybe even a bit more on the killer side. I got no quarrels with Bloodwarden or NOED, I simply want to show what I think and see what others opinions are. I agree survivors shouldnt be staying in the match for 2 of 3 minutes and if you read properly you would see that I did say that a reason they may not change it is for the "brutal (but possibly needed) reminder" that they SHOULDNT be staying in a match after opening exits anyway.

The timer slows when someone is hooked or in dying state.
So the 60 seconds of BW wouldn't guarantee that all of them would die.

Just take a key

But if the timer was still far enough done, BW could still ensure that anyone who hasnt left will die. (say the timer was at 45 seconds and someone gets hooked (then unhooked quickly)

also @Slayer saying "just take a key" is stupid. You cant expect survivors to take a key into every round just to ensure that they can possibly escape in the event Bloodwarden triggers when the timer is to far gone for them to escape through the exit. The killer might not even have Bloodwarden, or you could die before it even gets to the endgame, also survivors dont have infinite keys so they can't just bring them into every single game. 🤦♂️

Literally the ONLY TIME Blood Warden will be able to secure survivor's deaths, is if the survivors take more than two minutes to leave AFTER THE EXIT GATES ARE OPENED and then the killer hooks someone who is on their death hook with 45~ seconds left on the timer. In this situation, it's 100% the survivors fault for not leaving sooner. Three minutes is a LONG TIME.

Well, at this point, the real question is why are the survivor still hanging around and its really their own fault at this point lol.

You all have a point. I think its situational enough that BW doesnt need changing, but it will be strong. I cant wait!
