DC'ing Survivors
So it's nothing new that survivors have been dcing. When survivors DC from your games at the start, do you guys keep playing the game 100% effort and not care that there are 3 survivors, or do you take pity on the 3 left and just get points?

I show mercy when there are only 2 survivors.
When there are 3 it depends on how they act and in what mood I am in.

Yeah like if I get into a 3 man, I instantly run to the killer and point at them a bunch of times and 9 times out of 10 they down me and kill me, then the 1 time the killer will not go try hard and just help everyone get 20k+ points.

I keep playing, so long as remaining survivors do. I have had occasions where I've taken pity, such as downing one guy to find all his team mates ran out of the exit rather than risk hanging around to help him. He'd given me a good game so I carried him to the exit and let him go. Another match saw two players DC before the match loaded, then another DC'd within seconds of the match starting. I caught the remaining survivor but rather than hook her and end the match, I carried her to a generator. She got the idea and repaired it, healed herself then I guided her to another and once she could open a door, I chased her there, waited while she opened it and she waited so I could get a hit in before she left.
Today though, trying to do my daily ritual, two players dc'd before the match started. I chased one player around on and off, she did gens and removed totems and I did manage to catch and hook her eventually. The last player never showed up to save her (I wasn't camping, I ran off to give them space to save and heal). I hunted all over the map for the remaining player and after about 10 minutes I found her in a cupboard on the top floor of the ironworks. She DCs as soon as I pulled her from the cupboard. Kinda felt sorry for the Claudette that I sacrificed and hope she at least got plenty of points. If I'd realised what was going on sooner, I'd have grabbed the hiding player and let Claudete win.

I’ll only dc if I have to go or I spawn with a wiggle bar. Having to go/ having a game-breaking bug are good reasons to dc (and really the only reason).

If a survivor disconnects in my game, I still give 100%, but I wont play too tactical anymore (things survivor-mains call "slugging", "camping", "tunelling", etc).

100% effort. Survivors have never gone easy on me or any killer I've seen in the 3 years I've been playing, I see no reason why I should.

When any of those conditions that are listed happen, as a survivor I just no longer care. Either I find the killer myself or I just work on a gen in front of them until they take me off and then I die on hook. And the killer probably won't pip or get a lot of points but then again it's basically automatic depip and lack of points for me.

nope, never. it never bothers and never should bother me

@Orion That's actually funny, I had a hag 100% tryharding on the weekend as 2 people DC'd instantly and I was left with my friend and I was running to pallets and throwing them down for her and pointing at them for her to break and she continued to chase and try to kill me. It was beautiful, I wasn't even angry she killed us both, we were just laughing because she was trying so hard and had ruin and we weren't even trying to escape at that point because we just wanted the match to end. These matches need to stop though, no point, you can't DC, you can't get points, you depip anyway.

Pretty unfair as you are screwing over everyone else from pipping...

I show mercy if there are only 2 survivors left, I will sometimes show mercy to 3 but depends on how they act, my behavior, and if I'm running survivor pudding or bp offerings

If you wanted the game to end, you could've just stood still. I think it's quite clear what you wanted.

I never show mercy. It could only have disconected all but one survivor, I am still going to kill it. That's what I do, that's who I am.

If i'm survivor and someone dcs I just kill myself on hook, can't be bothered. I know it won't be a fun match and I'll just waste my time for nothing. Can't really blame me though.

No mercy. It's not like you get gifted free hooks or BP when gens get popped faster than you can down one person.

@Orion So I was trying to help her get points and wanted to get at least something bc I put up a good offering wow sorry I minimally did something, bc standing there and waiting for the killer to find me is so worth not just DCing, sorry for trying to be nice to a killer. I literally just helped her get points then gave up on first hook bc she downed my friend as well, if we wanted to drag it out we would have hid and done gens? Such a snarky reply for no reason, I guess I should have expected that from you over it...

I just play normally till I get caught. I have had 2 or 3 games with just me due to 3 DCs. Yet to win with that but maybe 1 day 😂

As killer, if there's only 3 I'll play against them normally unless they show they don't want to, in which case I'll farm with them. 2 or 1 I farm.
As survivor, I always try unless the killer is shown to want to farm.
Sure if everyone was like me there'd be no farming but hey
