Endgame Collapse

What do you guys think about the new feature?

I am personally hoping we could see perks or add-ons that make the timer go faster, I don't know if Blood Warden slows the timer but if it doesn't then these would go well with BW.

I know the point isn't to kill Survivors in this way, it's really a formality to end the game and not help you win but it would still be fun and interesting to see a build that synergizes with this super risky endgame to try and get kills.

Also, we can close the hatch <3 I first played the game when Clown came out and was devastated to learn the hatch kick didn't come with him so I'm happy to hear that satisfying SLAM!

I doubt they will let anything touch the timer.

It is just going to make me play less survivor. At least, I will stop playing solo. Because it is going to make solo survivor end game hell. Everyone will just dip out. Unless there is an incentive to stay in. I hope they have thought of it, and have something in place for it.

@ChiThat's the point, they WANT YOU to dip out. Staying in is what caused Killers to cry out for this to be made.

I'm not gonna be hyped or excited, DbD is famous to kill that hype and/or excitement.

But i am eager to try it out, see how it feels.

The countdown happening after the gates are open doesn't help with endgame pressure too much except for new players I think, since the gate is open already the survivors all know that 1 door is safe at least. The 3 minute timer is a lot seeing a door is open, 2 minutes might be better since once again a door is already open. Hatch closing collapse could require the 3 minutes I admit.

That's the point?...gtfo out of the match when endgame happens...

It's almost like your saying survivors should be allowed to just hold the game from ending even when the gates are powered and the hatch is open...

Hey, why get better at a game if you can whine and have the devs kill survivors for you, right? "I got outplayed! and they stayed end game to save a friend I got with noed!! Survivors are op!!! nerf!" Devs: "Alright, here is the plan: the entity will KILL the survivors for you! :) <3.

good survivors wouldn't get killed by that. The only thing that is worth anything is closing the hatch as killer (PRAISE THE ENTITY) 3 minutes is a lot of time. I would make it 2 mins after the last gen is repaired. I mean if survivors do there job they earn a win. but I'm not sure how late game killers or weak killer will play with this. Remember me is 30 seconds at tier 3 and blood warden is 60 seconds. even then you would still have enough time to get out. plus solo survivors don't really care if a dumb teammate gets caught. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Headlock Yeah the Collapse won't happen until the gate is opened and not the Gens done, it really should start when the last Gen is finished instead of when the Gate is opened.

@Victory So what you're saying is that the hatch shouldn't exist at all? Yes I completely agree with you. Your team didn't finish 5 generators why should you be allowed a free escape because you were unable to complete your objective? Thank you for making this very valid point.

Ikr Im soo tired of trying to get through to survivor mains that say killers whines about survivors are OP but what about you survivors you whine about an update that makes you finish the Gane quicker. I'm really looking forward to this update:D hype all the way:)

Endgame collapse is barely ever dangerous for survivors unless they screw around like idiots. Sad the game gets balanced for those for the most parts.

"Game now kills for you if you mess up". Wrong, it's the survivors who gets killed for failing miserable when theres a an ALREADY OPEN EXIT GATE.

The collapse triggered by closing the hatch is also a second chance for the last survivor instead like the IWIN-button it is for the survivor.

Might be worth mentioning survivors were able to skip up to 4/6 or 5/7 (if you seperate opening a gate and escaping) of their objectives with the hatch before the update. Now survivors can escape with ZERO generators done for an actually free.

Gosh i wanna see some 7000 bloodpoints challenge clips.

Unless the end game collapse was his idea, i think you may be mistaken about who you're trying to insult with this post. The comment he responded to was not directed at him. It was about the collapse in general. From an obvious survivor main. Because it's clear they enjoy ######### around for no reason after the gates are opened, because they have to use "oh a camper with noed!" as an argument.
