I got banned for 'Unsportsmanlike behavior' back in december. Since I didn't do anything wrong except dcing, guess I got banned for that. I dced so many times as killer, literally several hours of constant dcing almost every day. The thing was that I wanted fun matches, and having fun was almost impossible at high ranks because of swfs. But after that ban I changed. I realized that I ruined the game for others by doing so. And swf is not the end of the world like I thought, I treat it like a challenge now and it made me so much better at doing my job as a killer. Sure, I still dc sometimes, but not so often and not for said reason.

Considering that some streamers and even whisperers are still there, I don't think anyone got a ban.

They are supposed to ban you but I don't think they are right now. Since you no longer lose pips when you DC I think they might have disabled it because of the ridiculous amount of crashes and random errors everyone is getting. A lot of people are simply not loading into a game or just straight up crash.

I do believe nobody get banned for DC
Heck, the game won't tell you if my report did work or not

Automated replies are worthless. Companies send those even if nothing was done.
People get banned all the time.

If your report has led to action, you'll hear from BHVR. I had a killer intentionally lock me into a game for over 40 mins once by pinning me into a corner near the hatch. Reported everything on a few different venues. (Yeah, coulda just "leave game", but had an axe to grind by that point) Anyway, about a week and a half later, I got an email response from BHVR saying "Thank you for your report, action has been taken on the account, etc." Can't remember the exact wording but you do hear from them.

I always DC against Nurses. So like 50% of the games? Have never been banned.

Look at all the dumb bugs that have been in the game at various points in time and things that were inexplicably broken, considering they should have been trivial to catch during development
Why would the ban system be exempt from that? Most likely the system is completely busted but no one has noticed so far
Then again, even if it worked it's a horrible approach: It doesn't discourage disconnects until you get banned yourself because there are no visible consequences for doing so (other than losing pips but that's actually a positive)
So basically every single player in the game will disconnect until the EVENTUALLY get banned and then MAYBE they will stop (but probably not)

@Madjura 4th dc ban is your last. It takes a long time to get your first too it seems judging by the amount it happens to everyone.
