Stop dodging killer, you're pathetic
Whats the point of dodging like this in PS4 ? Its impossible to play night or late night this game. Just got a new record of 12 dodges in a row, im solo and not playing flashlight Claudette or something toxic. whats wrong ?
Anyone else experiencing the same ?

Equip default cosmetics and no items.
Stops dodges 90% of the time for me. Hide your trophies also.

Even if im p3 on almost all my characters i still use basic outfits, but i dont get it why they still dodge, i will start to think im famous and very good I dunno.
Hiding the trophies ? Lol I dont think the guy looks about it since he dodge in a second, mostly before i can see people inside the current lobby

I'm not sure why they dodge either. I'll dodge but only when there's bad ping. I'm guessing it's because they see the other survivors and their clothes or something idk. It might not be your fault

You know they can see your profile before you enter the lobby, right?
If you use the fast menu you can see all the people who's about to enter your lobby. It works for survivors as well.

I have a decent chunk of hours, but they can't tell how bad I am. If only they knew... one of the reasons why I wish we could choose to show the other side our perks/item loadouts.
I'm currently running Boil Over, Dance With Me, Botany Knowledge, and Deja Vu, my new favorite [silly] perk. It's not like I'm a threat to anyone. I can't outrun a Leatherface and hatchets hit me around corners all night long. I'm basically a free hook for killers.

If you are playing solo, it might not be you but your random teammates.

There are three other survivors who don't care if they're ruining your queue times by doing things they know make killers dodge. It's not all about you.

As a killer main, I don't get it. Unless you care about your pips (For some reason) and are just looking for easy matches. I play every match, regardless of what the enemy team is like, as a new player I figure learning how to mindread, figuring out the paths in the map and hiding spots is a good way to just get better. =\ So even if I get my butt handed to me by survivors that loop me for an hour, at least I'll have some practice and learn a thing or two.
(As a hag player, learning the best spots to put traps to cut off chases is key too)

I never understood why killers got to pick their easy games, meaning since the playerbase is going stagnant it is getting easy to recognize swf and good solos to dodge, but survivors don't get any idea until they are in game. Probably one of the reasons for growing DC's, people are getting fed up with it since the last updates.

What's sad is it's the majority of red rank killers on PS4, if you have more than one item or any sort of cosmetic they're taking a plane ticket out that MFer, but then they come here to complain about SWF when they don't belong in the red ranks in the first place, they've dodged their way up cherry picking lobbies then act like they know something about balance smh

@Orion Everyone has their right to use whatever they want in their game, your goal is to win after all, BUT survivors and killers alike are taking that right away from each other.
Therefore, my solution is to lock the lobby once the killer joins one so that no one can leave it, including survivors. At the 30 second marker, survivors will have their items, perks, and offerings locked in place which means they can no longer change what they already have equipped. If at anytime a survivor's PING stays in the red area for too long, the killer can kick the survivor from the lobby.
DCing will be punished harder once dedicated servers roll out! Can't wait to see what they are!

My point was something much more fundamental: you can't force people to play games they don't want to play. They have alternatives and will just leave.

@Orion , then why play a game that's unfun for you? Why don't you play something else or take a break for a while? There will be times where DBD is just not fun anymore and that it's time to relax for a while. Perhaps the game will be fun again after a hour or so, ya know?

Yea dude i just simply wear basic stuff to show i don't know what i am doing. Whenever you dress ugly that pretty much shows you're good at looping and you're the strongest one on the team.

Hey, I'm not saying it's rational, I'm just saying that trying to force people to play trials they don't think are going to be fun won't work. Keep in mind that every killer that quits means another four survivors can't get a lobby.

Multiple private profiles is usually indicative of SWF trying to hide the fact that they're SWF. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
The best advice if you don't want to get dodged is:
- Don't be toxic in-game or have a troll-sounding name.
- Don't bring items.
- Don't use either very bright or very dark clothing.
- Don't play Claudette, Nea, or Laurie.
- Don't play SWF.
This will minimize your chance to be dodged, but you have to keep in mind there are three other people in the lobby with you, and most of them don't care if you get dodged, so long as they (eventually) get to do one or more of the above. Furthermore, no single action will completely prevent you getting dodged.

That's the point, you don't even have to play DBD if it's unfun for you at time. Why queue for a game that you think might not be fun? If you queue for a game, you should be expecting the unexpected and don't get upset whenever you get something you dislike. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I do, but I disagree with many people on where the problem lies. Some would prefer to diminish the killer population, rather than bite the bullet and push for changes that would make the game better for everyone (like banning toxic players).

Then DBD would be unplayable because no one likes being dodged, literally. Just like how no one likes DCs because it basically prevents you from having a balanced game.
Just imagine if survivors could see what killer you're playing as and you kept getting dodged until you played a killer that best suited their needs. It wouldn't be fun, wouldn't it?
When you queue, both the killer and survivor should be prepared for anything. Dodging and DC basically says you wasn't ready to play DBD and need a break (exception: Sudden real life events)

@Orion then why queue when you wasn't prepared for the unexpected? I mean, I get that killers can be weak against SWF but that's a discussion for a later time since it breaks the fundamentals of DBD. I'm not just targeting killers here, survivors are wayyyyy more guilty than killers since they DC because they didn't prepare to go against a Doctor.

If I had to guess, in their mind, dodging is their preparation. I'd honestly rather have a killer dodge me than one who DCs when we're in the trial.
