Feedback on recent DCs wave / 3v1 / 2v1 matches.
Ok, so there seems to be alot of people disconnecting nowadays on purpose when they get downed first or prefer to suicide on the hook OR they don't get loaded into the game / their game crash.
Some suggestions in regards to this topic:
- Add a penalty for those who disconnect intentionally as following: 1st dc: 15 minute lockout from the queue; 2nd 1hr, 3rd 12hrs, 4th 24hrs, 5th 1 week etc. You get the idea here, with a diminishing return once every 12 hrs ( that should not be a problem for those who left because some irl stuff came to happen );
- Disband 3v1 / 2v1 matches with 0 loss on pips if only 3 or less people join a game because of crashes etc until you figure your stuff out on what you have planned with debugging stuff to see what causes these problems;
- For those who suicide on their first hook, to apply the punsishments mentioned for those who disconnect and also you can add some circumstances check for example: time spent on hook, actions performed until they've got hooked ( to not punish them when they've got tunneled all game ) and the most important thing here, to make sure you check the time spent on hook correctly so the other teammates won't abuse this feature by letting people die on their first hook.
Another thing i would like to add besides these these suggestions: as you have seen, the Legion mending bug is present since the killer's release, tho discovered & reported to you a bit later, also made public like 2 months ago. Same goes with the backpaddling exploit. My suggestion is: whenever such things get into your attention, make sure to release a mini-patch & fix these things faster, in like 1-2 days since it got to your attention, not after months. To be honest, these 2 things would've been fixed & changed by a single person in at max 1 day.
This would help you remain steady on the long run.
I hope you got my points there. This is a constructive topic, so no hate.
Have a great one.
Excuse me if there are any typos, i've wrote it from my phone.
Best regards,
Sadolock.

"To be honest, these 2 things would've been fixed & changed by a single person in at max 1 day."
Any particular reason to make an assumption like that? Do you really think this is so simple? Get some lessons in C++ to see how much time can take looking for a one bug in the simpliest programs.
"( that should not be a problem for those who left because some irl stuff came to happen );"
It will be a problem due to the fact that you are punished after 1 dc. Making a fair system for things like this is not a simple task.
Your hook suicide punishment is such a bad idea and the whole topic with tracking what happened... do you realise how hard and time consuming it will be to make... there are way too many things to consider.
A whole comment is a classic: I want things to be better, but i have no idea how to achive so or how things work.

I'm not here to argue, i just said what i had in mind.
I am a programmer myself, so i know what bugfixing means. In this case, as the problem is known how to be reproduced & what causes it, it's easy to be fixed. They should know their code, it's not like some stranger comes to fix it. Anyway, the point here was that they should've released hotfixes when it was really needed, not after months.
In regards to the one disconnecting for irl situations, a 15 minutes penalty is not a bad idea. It should have a diminishing return as i said, so after 12hrs or let's say next 5 matches, if that person doesn't disconnect again, the punishing lockout timer won't increase to the next level and reset itself to the 1st punishment to be applied on the next disconnect. These can also go at first as 2x warnings, then apply the punishment if the person still disconnects. The idea was just as a whole.
The whole suicide tracking would be neat, it could be easly improved overtime. It may take time to implement, but such things are needed as the current state of the game went bad.
Cheers.

It's legit as far as I know.

Cheers.
It may be, tho suiciding on 5 gens, screwing the whole team over is kinda lame. They now either dc or suicide.
