Killers should be able to hook from any angle and if survivors want to block, they can stand.
The games I have played today as Plague all involved THOSE swf. You know, the kind that gives swf the bad reputation it has earned. I literally just got out of a game that should have lasted about 9 minutes, extended into a half hour of being held hostage because of jerks.
Anyways, in them they all rushed to block the hook with their crouched Blendette bodies. “You get a free hit” is a fantasy clearly cooked up by survivor only players because that is complete bull. It’s a lost hook, free 500 points escape for the survivor and free altruism points for the blocker - the killer loses in every part of this scenario.
Let killers hook from every angle like survivors can unhook for this very reason and crouching under a hook should not be able to block the hook prompt. You want to block for your buddy? Great - but stand on your own two feet and take your chances of getting hit like someone who is not a spineless coward knowing full well they’re essentially abusing game mechanics.

I just made a post about this kind of stuff. This totally ruins the game man. I probably won't be playing killer anymore now after it happened to me. So many ways to exploit the game to make the killer lose out. Points or not, there is no such thing as a fair chase. Why do people think looping is okay too? It's incred boring.
Like I said in my post, I'll definitely just play survivor now and give the killer a fair match. I have never looped or body blocked and I am rank 13 as survivor and growing. I think survivors should have a stamina bar.

Killers should be allowed to toss survivors like huntress hatchets. If they toss a survivor over 40 meters and land on a hook, they score bonus points.
