Leaving DBD for a year to win a bet
I made a bet with my father saying that if I could not play DBD or games in general for a year then he would pay me 2,000 dollars. I don’t know about you but I could use the money for school and other such things I might need in my life. Besides, I think a break is what I need so I can stay away from all this BS with the fog whisperers. Not saying they won or anything, still looking forward to my anonymous source to expose one of them for hacking their files for infinite add-ons
To those that stood by me during those rough times with those people, I thank you, I’ll still be in contact with mods about the situation but I just won’t really be online anymore. I also need to be able to focus on my well being as well as trying to work on my actual career goal instead of role playing as one.
To those that have questions about Lore, you’re welcome to ask me in my comments below, and I’ll try to get to them at some point, this thread isn’t an attention grab as I’m not complaining or crying like some of you do on here then come back the next day.
So with that out of the way this will be my last thread as I try to win this bet, hope all of you take care out there and be safe. Have a blessed day.
-Detective Jonathan
PS: Detective Tapp is the best character in the game and Legion sucks don’t @ me 😉
PSS: I have no idea how to check notifications on mobile, so I have like 10 notifications and no idea whether they’re lore questions or people quoting me on something, if anyone knows how to do that please let me know. Thank you.

Isn’t this an old copypasta or meme from Facebook or something?
Edit: Oh okay I’ve read it a bit more.

I would never be able to not play Dead By Daylight for a whole year XD

I could for 2000 dollars. So many other games out there. Or hobbies.

Good luck with your challenge! I wish the best for you! I had a lore question in the lore subforum asking if the entity could take a deadite or a demon and have them do it's bidding as a killer, I would like to know thee best possible answer if you can come up with one! :)

$5.48/Day to stop playing games for a year would definitely not be worth it for me.
If it helps you, though, I hope you succeed in your endeavor.

Good luck and have fun ^^
I hope at least you can chill with us on forums and checking updates on the game? :)

I wouldn't last a week.
You're gonna miss out on the end game collapse, the upcoming double bloodpoints, the thrill of hunting down mortals, juking killers, the new Freddy, Legion effectively being deleted.
Don't do it man!

You must spend a lot of time in front of the computer when your father comes up with such a desperate attempt to keep you from using it.
Farewell.

$2,000 in this day & age is not a lot of money. Can make that in just 2 months at minimum wage. Pass.

Good luck! I hope that you manage to beat the challenge.

Easy 2000. See you in a year.

You will be missed here Jonathan. I always liked your deep lore dives. A good portion of us will likely still be here when you return (I hope).

If you are entertaining to watch just stream the games on twitch for a year and aim for 5.48/a day in donations.
