Grunts of pain too quiet/Chase music too loud
Did the devs nerf the sound to make it harder for killers to hear survivors or is this just a bug? My volume is the same as it's always been and no one I've had this issue with is using iron will or no mither. It's very frustrating to lose a survivor mid-chase because the audio levels are all wonky.

No, you're not crazy.

I find it hard to hear the grunts of pain as a killer, however when I'm on my survivor they're loud AF. I think its in perspective.
I would like the option to lower the music to whatever volume I'd like it at ingame. Its obnoxious.

There are a few sound issues they still haven't fixed. Another example is not being able to hear Generator sounds if the camera is in specific places/the generator is behind a wall.

I think they tried adjusting it to need spirit and it’s screwing all killers.

Old killer issues since the first sound/engine overhauls. Will not get fixed soon.
Whenever there were such issues, they NEVER reverted back to 100% after "fixing" the bug.

Stopped playing Spirit because of this, couldn't be bothered, so only play Nurse now. Read through some of the comments in the bug section which there were multiples in the last weeks, none were answered
@Peanits The lack of communication by the devs regarding this is what truly bothers me. Are they even working on this? Will it get fixed? No info.

Footsteps are also way too quiet now, hurting killers. Lots of sound got screwed on the plague patch.
As for the chase music itself, they'll never give us an option to lower the volume as it's the way it is for a reason.

Second this, the god damn chase music is ridiculously louder than I remember compared to screams, injured states etc

Also footstep sounds are basically nonexistant and it's really hard to hear generator progress through walls..

totally agree with you on this.
