End Game Wax Brick & Fastening Tools

If Wax Brick and Fastening Tools moderately reduce the chance of survivors escaping a Bear Traps grasp could you use this to keep a survivor immobile with RNG in your favor?

From what iv read the end game timer only slows if you hook or put a survivor in the dying state, could you trap someone after the gates are open and leave the survivor in the trap to hold a survivor immobile while the clock is ticking at normal speed?

It would all be chance but with the add ons specified above I belive you could stall out a minute or maybe two before hooking the survivor to have a better chance at causing the collapse to occur.

A survivor could come to rescue their teammate but you could also use that to stall more time.

Blood warden could also help.

What do you think? I feel Fastening Tools are a little pricey to risk an easy escape but just using a Wax Brick might be able to draw out the end, even if its only for a little while.

    Hmm i dont think it would last long enough. Maybe throw remember me into the ring aswell! Are you trying to circumvent the timer slowing down?

    Yeah just trying ti make the End Game Cataclysm end ASAP so if nobody is hooked or downed the 3 minute timer should keep going at normal speed, it might force survivors who speed through generators to stay for an uncomfortable amount of time to save a friend.
