What defines the “fun” in dbd for you?

For me fun in dbd is playing with my friends and just playing to play and not for the win. Cosmetics are also very fun for me since I love customization.

What defines “fun” for you in dbd?

    Killing all Survivors. If i got less than a 4k, i failed. If it happened because i'm just not playing a meta Killer, it feels awful. Pips mean nothing, points mean nothing; just kills.

    For me it's weird, as survivor I just like to have a laugh and loop.

    As killer, I like to play Spirit even if I lose, or get that satisfying snowball as Hag that I always end up getting mid game and get a 4k.

    Fun for me is quite simple.

    I want to feel like I’m in a horror movie. Will I survive? Will I sacrifice myself so my friend can live? Will it be for nothing and we both die? Same with playing killer. Did I scare them? Did I make them scream with joy at being in the exit gates?

    This patch has made it clear that I know I will survive as a survivor and that as a killer, my job will be to give the survivors blood points as they clearly don’t take killers seriously.

    Feeling that I outsmarted my opponent, "big brain" moments you could say.

    It can be winning mindgames as killer or survivor, or my absolute favorite - narrowly escaping a chase. Having the killer lose you and narrowly avoiding being discovered again, having several close calls as the killer searches the area and then finally gives up and looks for someone else to chase is great.

    Being allowed to play the game I spent 30 dollars on.

    Unfortunately, the devs don’t want that.

    For me it is KYF, SWF and playing killer. I play survivor mostly to relax

    Win, like in any other normal game.

    Survivor = Escape

    Killer = 3-4k

    I find it fun when I have a fair game without toxicity or BM.

    Challenging but rewarding gameplay depending upon skill level.

    Survivor: Going on fun chases, helping teammates, stealthing past or around killers

    Killer: Chasing, cutting off the routes survivors go down, pushing survivors off generators, getting all my stacks of BBQ, getting a lot of yummy points

    The cat and mouse aspects of the chase. It's the only form of interaction between the survivor and killer that's enjoyable for me.
