Survey : Should Endgame start once all Gens are completed?
In my personal experience playing the ptb, the end game collapse is very underwhelming. It starts when the gates are already open, meaning that the end game is only really effective if one survivor is behind, and that is very situational and not the norm. If endgame starts when all gens are completed, they still have 3 whole minutes to escape, and they decreased the time it takes to open a door, as well as nerfed the crap out of the pig bear traps and end game perks(RIP Remember Me). The endgame collapse fails to build any suspense, and having it start once gens get done will have survivors actually scared. But I'm more curious on what the community has to say, should endgame collapse stay how it is or should it be changed to this purposed idea? I doubt the devs will even consider this but at it's current state it isn't that much of a impact.

Voted No. Would be a gigantic help for the killer, since all they have to do is waste survivor's time at the gates.

No.
That would make perks like Blood Warden and Remember Me a lot more powerful than need be (regardless of their nerfs).

Match is over after gen 5 now, I haven't experienced any pressure within the 15 seconds it takes to open a gate. Amazing how 5 seconds can be the difference between an easy walked out and the killer actually interrupting for additional chases.

It’s basically a buff to survivors. Devs are just trying to get games over quicker. I do think the timer should go faster if survivors are just sitting in the exit gate area. The only reason survivors will claim to be there is, “waiting to make sure everyone is out.” Unless there is someone being chased, then just leave lol. It’s not hard. In reality, they just want to waste the killers time and tbag.
In all, The EGC is nothing special. It’s basically there to get the game over and done with. It’s funny how some people actually thought this would bring intensity lol. Killer side took 3 L’s with EGC, Legion and Pig.

3 mins is too long.... theres no pressure especially when someone is knocked down... its needs to be shorter... or start after the 5th gen is completed

Shorter, not effected by downs or starts on 1st gen.
I think exactly one of those would be good. Any more might be too much given its purpose

It should start as soon as generator number 5 is completed. The timer also needs to speed UP when survivors are within 16 m of an OPEN exit gate.
This is the only way all those nerfs would be fair and logical, it punishes toxic survivors, and now survivors have their own penalty for camping.

Everyone's working on gens on 1 side of map, killer is on other side checking 1 gen gates are powered and both gates are near killer. Now how many other survivors are left have to try and navigate to said gates on far side of map.
Also get over yourselves not every survivor is trying to troll and tea bag the killer and this victim mentality is hilarious.

No the whole purpose of the end game collapse is to get everyone out the game to move onto another one not to give any side extra time.
It does what it's designed to do.

Absolutely not! I think a lot of people are missing the point of what's trying to be accomplished with the endgame collapse. It's not about making things easier or harder but rather it's about bringing the match to an end. I have never been in a match where survivors refuse to open the gate after the 5th gen is completed. However I have been in many matches were both exit gates are open and people are still lurking and taunting and searching chests and cleansing totems. That's what the endgame collapse addresses, and it accomplishes those goals because everyone's limited to 3 minutes.

Yes. A 3 minute t-bag timer is too much.

Yes, or at least push the existing timer down to 60 seconds.

No. Endgame Collapse isn't supposed to get killers an easy kill it is supposed to get survivors out of the match if they are taking to long. No it shouldn't be shortened because a lot can happen Endgame especially if you play an Endgame build. EGC achieves what it is meant to it gets survivors out within an alloted time and makes sure hatch standoffs don't happen. It achieved that the problem is killers seem to want to have Endgame Collapse reward them for not actually doing well and not managing to kill survivors. No a survivor shouldn't teabag but if you hate being teabagged don't go near the exit when you know you have been outplayed. If someone loops me and clicky clickies their flashlight at me and teabags I ignore them, most of the time it pisses them off that I don't entertain their stupid ideals that they end up doing nothing all match following me clicking to try and get me to chase them. The problem is lots of people seem to give the Ctrl button the control of their sanity and get really hot headed about someone pressing a button. You give then what they want if you rise to it.
Finally and most importantly EGC shouldn't start after the last gen is popped for perhaps the most important reason. It would BUFF Nurse and Billy because of their ability to put pressure on the exit gates. Let's face it those two killers don't need a buff at all.
