Billy's hitbox

i think it's way to big when using the chainsaw i played a round in the plagues map and there was a little hole next to the stairs of the temple and he was chainsawing towards me so i tried to make him fall down it witch he did but i still got hit even when i was like 5 meters away. The same happened to me when i was in mothers dwelling and i got hit from around a corner and this has happened many other times from around trees and loops and etc. p.s It's not lag they were all green ping i play billy a lot and always get hits that i should not get.

Might've had the extended range add-ons.

His chainsaw hitbox is smaller than his regular M1 attack so stop clompaining.

For some reasons they increased his hitbox some time ago. As if chainsaw hits weren't easy enough.

    @White_Owl

Do you have anything to confirm that?

If you go to Coldwind Farm and go to the combine and make a survivor stay on the hay and get as close to the window as he can you'll see that you cant hit him with the chainsaw if you are beneath him but you'll be able to hit him with your M1 attack.

It's somewhere in the patchnotes, but I don't remember which update.

They increased billy's hitbox to fix false hits which in result it didnt false hits still happen they made his cone slightly larger you'll notice because on some maps objects you use to thread the needle on you can no longer thread the needle.

I too have a issue with the change but its not so much the hitbox more of the fact they didnt fix the issue which is false hits they still happen just more rare but its still a issue.

@tt_ivi_99 https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/20099/patch-notes-2-2-0-shattered-bloodline#latest this was the patch he was talking about "Fixed an issue that could cause the Hillbilly's chainsaw to miss the hit detection" which they did buff his cone slightly to fix it which was shadow buffed people later noticed after this patch billy's hitbox was a lot larger

Hillbilly is by far the most balanced killer, if you think spinning around him during his charge up when he is not right on you is smart you have a lot to learn. As for those corners billy has a very small window after he starts his run to make a nearly 90 decree turn so learn where to run to and when to juke. The hit box is a decent size as well which makes those corners a dangerous place to be when he's coming at you. If he's behind you keep running forward and wait for him to finish the charge than juke him.

He also doesn't need 115% speed.

    Change my mind.

And don't say "hE stIlL geTs loOpeD"

Make him require more skill then he’ll be perfectly balanced. His only weakness Is already remedied with the Enduring+Spirit Fury combo. There’s a reason why he’s insanely popular.

Imagine billy at 110 he wouldnt even be able to down a survivor map pressure means nothing if you dont have the ability to down a survivor its like hag imagine if hag didnt have the ability to teleport to a trap she would be useless billy would be the same way and the arguement of "just throw on monitor" try running monitor vs survivors who know to look back you'd never down anyone logically billy is fine the only thing id like for them to do is tone down his hitbox and the rest is fine.

Like all jokes aside billy would actually be the worst killer in the game at 110 his power would have no way of helping him at that point.

I don’t think it’s billy I think it’s just all the hit boxes in the game plus the lag

HiS hiTBoX isN’T bIG! Jokes aside this was all lag and if you think the hitbox is big then you’re likely lagging.
