Give Players the next DLC free
We all know that BHVR legally doesn't have to hand out refunds, ect. However, they can't ignore that many of their players are upset over what they feel is wasted money now. So I'de like to propose that they consider compensating the playerbase by doing another Huntress. Give us the next unlicensed DLC free.
Not only would this go a long way to appease the upset playerbase. But it would expand the core game for new players.

I think a Shard event would be very nice. 2x shards for a weekend? Why not?

No, do you know how much money and time go into creating a chapter? A company have to earn profit what they put out.
$7 every 3 months is nothing. You either pay or keep it moving.

With non-licensed stuff, you can earn it all by playing the game, so all their in-house creations are free. Granted you still have to pay if you want a perk like Pharmacy but it's a small price, and that's what we have Shrine for. So you don't even have to buy that stuff.
I'm not turning down free stuff, I'll take any content they give us for free, but the Shards aren't useless either. Plus there's cosmetics.

The shard mechanic is broken. The Devotion doesn't really mean anything.
300 shards per Devotion level from 51 through 99? I mean what's the point of that?
Why does it cap for 50 levels? That is stupid.

Anyone who's upset about Legion changes is a loser imo. Legion were taking 0 skill to play in 1v1, now you actually have to win 1v1 like everyone else in a fair situation + micro time management. I personally have 0 Empathy to the crybabies.

- The Last Breath

- A Lullaby For The Dark
And with shards you can actually unlock almost every killer, survivor and cosmetics. Still entitled?

The issue with shards is they take so long to earn, and when you do get them, it's not nearly enough. So frankly, you'd be better off just paying with real money, unless you want to spend who knows how long saving up shards.

DBD is a cheap game. You pay 7 Euros for a DLC. For other games you pay a higher price per month to actually play the game. Let alone AAA-Titles which consist of 10hrs of playtime.
Besides that, there is no reason for free DLCs. There is also no reason for refunds - whoever plays an Onlinegame and does really think that paid Content can be changed... I dont know what to say.
And well... You can get most of the DLCs for free by using Shards. The difference between RL money and Shards is nearly non-existent.

lol if you're on PC, the Halloween DLC is Free, along with the Huntress DLC. Nurse is also DLC and she's free.
On Console, Nurse is Free, Hag is Free and Doctor is free.

The argument is that it is a bait and switch, Legion hasn't been out for 5 months and already got reworked to the point that he's pretty much an M1 killer. His uniqueness, for better or worse, is gone. He brings very little to the table from the majority of the roster, and only serves to be another bloodpoint sink for his perks/addons/etc.
Refunds are not the way to go about it, but there is sure as hell a lesson to be learned in the feedback being provided with regard to these changes.

Actually its a pretty bad business decision to handle it the way they have. Between this drastic change so early in the killer's life, and the last minute changes to the Plague that hurt her viability tremendously between the PTB and her release, it does not inspire a lot of confidence in day 1 purchases of new DLCs. Freddy got nerfed into the ground not long after release, and has stayed there for literal years. The precident sets off red flags left and right for prospective buyers, and gives a lot of credence to waiting until killers are discounted or can be bought with shards, rather than encouraging players to pony up extra money to buy them outright. Thus, a bad business move.
For the record, Legion absolutely needed changes, but the outrage at how hard the nerf hammer hit is very justified. Many people have been saying he will be near impossible to balance since as early as his pre-release PTB, and these changes are verification that a happy medium has not yet been found.

Nurse best killer is free along with Nea, who has some very good perks
Huntress, a very strong killer, also free along with David has 2 valuable perks
Bill is free
Not to mention the rest of the free survivors and killers which you get with the game whom all have some very useful perks
And with dedicated servers coming, they will need the money. if the killer/survivor suits your taste, then buy it, if not don't. If you want the perks? Consider buying or waiting for the shrine. Or you can use Auric cells to buy just the killer or survivor if that fits the bill for you.
As far as I am concerned, you can technically earn all the perks for free. But that will certainly take time. They got employees to pay, and a game to work on. And licensed killers/survivors as far as I know, cannot be free. They are buying the rights to use X killer or character in the game, them and the license giver need to make money for it.
Unless it is one of their own creations, it will need to be a pay for DLC. And even if it is their own creation, they have every right to monetize it. Regardless of how the community feels.
