why are people and this game against a fair competition?
Almost all PVP games are based on a simple thing that is players must win the other players by using all avalible legit strategies, tools and by their personal skills.
And what do we have here? if you hook 4 person at the same time while none of generetions are repaid YOU NOT GET REWORDED. You show the best quality none of gens are repaired, none of survs are escaped and the game not award you for that! +0!
Killer gets more rewards if he preforms badly (at least it is bad according to my logic where im supposed to catch and kill survivors as best as i can) and let his victims to be unhooked several times (according to my logic it means killer cant chasing survs and in the same time pay attention to a hooked victim)
KILLER SHOULD NOT GUARD HIS VICTIM AND NOT INTERRUPT SAVING OF THIS VICTIM BY OTHER PLAYER. Cant you realize how mad this is?
Killer must not chase an unhooked survivor even if his death gives an enoumus advantage to a killer!
I dont undetstand, this is game about evil monsters who want to find and sacrafice people to some dark force or this is a basketball match but instead of Basket you have hooks?
it reminds of me one old MOBA game. Some playere hated to play against a heroes who could become invisible this hero could suddenly attack them while they were peacfuly farming gold somewhrere or while they were walking that was unfair according to their logic. You should not play such heroes because they cant see them and thats unfair they do not care that such heroes have disadvatages in teamfights or they become weak if you use a certain items against invisabilty or that they became a very weak if you pick a certain hero with skils of tracking and searching on map they do not want to apply any tactic at all, they just want a game free of problems and sulutions
And back to so called camping, it does not even give a victory everyone knows that, all what "camping" does is requier from survs to apply tactics and skills instead of just brainless rush for free safe unhook and they are mad because sometimes they cant do it..
So i reapeat my question, why is this game against a fair competition?
killer must kill as effectively as he can, survivors must survive as best as they can. Overpowered things features, characters must reduced, underpowered must be upgraded.

It's only fair when 4k under 3 minutes is the balance standard

Maybe you'll get rewarded if you stop cheating. :)

Yes your job is to kill your prey, but if they rewarded camping than every killer would camp. And if every killer camped than playing survivor would be as boring as watching paint dry.
Also you say fair competition but camping a hook isnt fair when you can just wait for them to go for a save and grab them. And if that doesnt work well a tunnel is most likely next.
This game is about killers but it still has to be fun for both sides, and not be one sided.

Lore and game play reason. The entity rewards killers that squeeze every drop of pain and emotion out of its victims.
Unripened fruit is not as enjoyable to eat.

Tunnelling and camping need stronger punishments.
Decisive Strike should be a 20 second stun to get the point across.

you see that rank thing you hear about? put tape over it or something it doesn't matter.
0 -
It does matter. Higher ranks just means more headaches, all killers run ruin, NOED and if you're not with a SWF and you queue solo, you're going to have a pretty bad time.

This has to be a joke...

I'm not against fair competition, but Im against Killers that feel like ass to play.
Im against Killers that feel like a non threat.
A Killer should feel dangerous, Right now they feel like angry ostrich.

An angry ostrich can tear a person to shreds in seconds.
Maybe you meant a toddler with a banana shaped into a knife :D

Of course I'm joking. 20 seconds would be ridiculous.

The survivors reward tunneling and camping.
If the survivors stop rewarding camping and tunneling by applying pressure elsewhere they not only would win the game and escape, but also discourage the killer to camp and tunnel.
If one survivor is and to occupy the killer for 2 min, either by being chased or locking down the killer at the hook, this is a amazing feat in my book and the team should capitalize on this team play and not throwing themselves at the killer.
Blame the other survivors for not understanding the game and making the wrong decisions and not the killer, who capitalize on their over altruistic behavior, misjudgement of the situation and their mistakes!

imo you can't stop camping unless you completely change the hook sequence because as long as someone needs to be rescued from a hook post there is strategy in guarding them even if a lot of them are bad or meme strategies.
For example if the killer wanted to camp a specific survivor to death the only way you prevent that aside from hook diving as a team is if there was a respawn system instead of hook phases. So if a survivor gets hooked they die immediately but then they respawn for their remaining two phases. They're now somewhere on the map and the killer cannot camp.
I'm not really for or against such a thing it's just came to thought a few times. I don't see any other way to stop camping aside from displacing a survivor once they're hooked. Yeah you could punish the killer but at the end of the day you're still going to get camped and the killer who accepts the outcome doesn't care about a penalty.
Also disclaimer when I say camp I'm referring to those who don't walk farther than about 8 meters from the hook. I don't see anything wrong with patrolling an area if someone is hooked tbh. It's up to the other survivors to pressure the killer by completing objectives at that point.

Camping and tunneling are valid strategies when survivors hook camp the second you turn your back.

i never agreed so much before

"LOL button"
The best way to avoid camping or tunneling is to not get caught. 100% effective
