plunderer's instinct needs a buff
since we sacrefice a perk-slot for it, i mean that it shouldn't be possible to get any brown items... l use the perk, and it happens alot that i get brown toolbox, brown medkit and broken key in the chests... it doesnt feel like its worth using because there's almost no benefit

That's RNG for ya', i'm hearing this, but i'm also hearing that people are finding more Rainbow Maps & Skeleton Keys as of late.
Meanwhile, i never have problems on my Bloodwebs, yet there's always that one guy on here that doesn't like Bloodwebs.

Secreficing a slot for it should really guarantee no brown items... if not, its really not worth it

I feel like it should add something like silence the slamming sound when ending the search early.

Making it similar to pharmacy where it's guaranteed a purple or green item on first loot would be fine to me.

I've been plundering a lot the last few weeks (Ace in the hole and Plunderers instinct) and I've been getting really good loot like keys (the good ones not green) rainbow maps, flashlight etc. Of course you also get the bad stuff sometimes but it all comes down to rng so it'll even out. Probably half of my games I got good items (green and up).
Only thing I'd like to be changed is that luck would affect chests so Ante up could be used to get better items more consistently.

Its a perk designed to farm items, hence be they brown or purple you are getting a free item (if you survive). Sure sometimes RNG can suck (I have gotten so many broken keys) but killers don't even get the chance at an RNG perk to farm add-ons....we have to use the bloodweb *shudder*

Imho the suggestion to get at least yellow items is fine. That wouldn't be too powerful.

I think it should have the same speed and increase and quieter searching as Pharmacy

And Pharmacy should get a slight buff or change. Like what if you could only get medkits out of chests with it. A rare one on the first search then regular odds on all other searches.

Didn't plunderers get buffed quite recently or am I completely wrong about that? Cause I feel like I get better items with the perk more often than when I used it before. Or my luck just randomly got better.

The last change to PI was apparently in 2.5, where it made Event Items occur more often.
The change before that, which is also the first change, was way back in 1.3, where they reduced the aura ranges for levels 1 & 2, but increased the chance for rare stuff on all levels.

Ah, then I guess my luck got better recently, but that's still a small buff I would say, even if it doesn't give better items of recently per se. I never saw the perk as being that bad but I guess I could see why some might see it as a "waste of a perk". It doesn't guarantee anything good, just give you a higher chance of something good. Just seeing boxes is a benefit I'll take lol.

Plunderes is a fun perk if lucky, get a skeleton key, try to get your teammates to follow you for exciting escapes, found a green toolbox? Be nice give it to your teammate, its quite versatile

Clearly you are not combining it with Ace in the Hole. I run both and I'm consistently pulling red keys and purple toolboxes/flashlights every game.

the only buff that it needs is 50% faster chest opening and 75% reduced noise
