Lithe VS Balanced landing
Is Lithe comparable? Can people tell me? I've been using it and it feels just as good.

I find Lithe far more reliable then BL. There's almost always a vault, you have to go looking for drops.
Edit: Also when you vault you tend to have something between you and the killer. it allows for more reliable escapes.

I personally prefer Lithe. Balanced Landing has the upside of always giving you the stun reduction when falling. Overall I'd say they're equal with maybe a slight edge to bl.

Honestly, even if balanced landing didn't give any speed boost, with just passive effect it would still be better than majority of survivor perks including lithe.
It opens up so many possibilities and you can use it in the majority of the maps.
Also, you can control balanced landing better than lithe. Getting a speed boost with the shack window is not that beneficial for the most part.

Lithe has a ton of places it can be used on every map.
BL has a few great maps for it and plenty with very few drops. BUT BL has a use even when in exhaustion. 75% reduced stun could save you for sure. It also doesn't require a loud noise notification to trigger if you don't want to use it in a chase. Not a big deal, but it's something to consider.
Overall I think BL is better.

BL's great with more verticality being added with newer maps.
And it always works on hills and stuff.
Plus the fall recovery isn't on a cooldown.
Lithe's great when you want to always be in control of when to use the speed boost.
Granted, it's less now thanks to the change, but apparently that was an issue?
Anyway, it pretty much activates when you need it to.
In fact, as a Wraith main, i find this Perk far more annoying than Sprint Burst nowadays, as i can actually catch up to those people thanks to the gigantic uncloak lunge.
Lithe usually activates during a mindgame, which often trumps me.
Both have their uses and despite being both sprint & Exhaustion Perks, i find that you can make good use of both.

Lithe is trash. I switched out BL for Lithe to try it out, played with it for a week, I still hate it.
Balanced Landing is the second best exhaustion perk next to Dead Hard. The way you can extend and create certain loops with it, even when it is on cool down is just freaking amazing. I miss it when I don't run it.

Balanced Landing is my go to perk. You never know if you're randomly going to get Haddonfield, Springwood, or Macmillan Estate.
It's just inconvenient when you don't have it, or you can run both.
A nasty combo has always been Dead Hard and Balanced Landing.

@CallMeSpidey How's it nasty?

I honestly have no idea, but I can guess.
Dead Hard to a Window Vault, get the recovery and some distance faster.

I also forgot to say that when you fast vault out of a second floor window with Lithe, you waste a good chunk of your burst of speed.

Balanced Landing is a great perk.... on a few maps / specific locations.
Honestly, if you're going to run Balanced Landing, I suggest you run it with another exhaustion perk (don't count Adrenaline). There were many times where I had only 3 perks the entire game because I got a map that had no drops (like Shelter Woods) and it became useless really quick.
If I had to pick, I would pick Lithe. Much more reliable and you will almost always use it, because vaults are everywhere.
I'm still choosing between Lithe and Dead Hard. They are both good perks, but both have certain downsides aswell.

Balanced Landing is stronger on maps you can use it consistently. It even creates infinites on Haddonfield.
I, personally, don't care for Lithe. Yay, you can run around, but I typically run Urban Evasion with Sprint Burst, so time isn't particularly wasted in favor of better stealth and juking. Also, Sprint Burst is incredibly efficient for running to save someone that's running out of time and not alerting a killer being led away.

I would say it depends on your play-style. Lithe is a perk you don't have to think too much in order for it to activate. Just jump through a window or over a pallet and get a sprint burst. If you want a quick escape in the heat of the moment, Lithe would probably be the best choice, since vaults and pallets are on every map.
For balanced landing you'll have to scope out before hand drops and hills you can use it off of(still a thing for Lithe but vaults aren't that hard to find). Certain maps have more of this and other not so much, so BL is a bit of a gamble sometimes. When you get a map with lots of drops it feels amazing to use but when you get maps with very few or next to none it feels pretty bad(obviously). I myself prefer Balanced Landing, mostly because of the passive reduced stagger effect. Maybe Lithe would've saved me more often but I still prefer BL over it.
