Shadowborn baseline when?
I remember that the devs said one day that they want to make the FOV for killers bigger (basically shadowborn basekit) cuz playing killer without shadowborn has such a tight feeling (and well a killer isn't a horse lol) causing claustrophobia for some people.
And don't come up with "use shadowborn" cuz we all know that as killer u need to use meta perks against top survivors to stand chance and shadowborn is by far not top tier (maybe on Nurse at best).

Yeah that's one of the things that they talked about but later it has been forgotten. We haven't heard of anything about kindred baseline too.
I mean if they are not going to do what they talk about, at least they should confirm that they are not gonna do it. They leave people uninformed and I don't think it is healthy.

The biggest issue is that those changes are really good. I mean seriously, Kindred basekit would make swf and solo so much closer together, it would be a great QoL change for future balancing.

I really hope Shadowborn FOV gets the default killer FOV someday. The current deafult FOV feels too narrow and shadowborn feels like the perfect number.

I had this kind of idea:
- While out of a chase, your movement speed is increased by 20 %
- Your field of view is increased by 10/12.5/15 degrees

Unrelenting is also useless. I made a potential change to that one also:
- Your lunge attack speed is increased by 20/25/30 %
- Recovery from missed attacks is decreased by 30 %
So it's just an added mechanic to existing crap, which would make the perk better

Given the moonwalking exploit, the first point is a bad idea.

Press the second ability button to activate shadowborn
While Shadowborn is active you,
- move 30 % faster
- your field of view is increased by 10/12.5/15 degrees
- cannot attack
Press the second ability button again to deactivate the perk
- You will be fatiqued for 1.5 seconds after deactivating the perk

I wish shadowborn still gave super-ultra-mega fov
Don't understand why that was nerfed. I'd love a buff on it, might make it worth running on killers not named nurse.
EDIT: Compare :21 to 1:00 to get an idea of how awsome shadowborn used to be.

This is honestly why I use M&A, there's a slight boost, I used shadowborn on legion initially because of the rapid motion but M&A gives benefit and FOV increases. It's quickly becoming a must have perk for me, shame it changes depending on chase though, it would be nice to have shadowborn or even just the slight M&A increase FOV.

The reason it's not baseline is because shadow born buffs flashlights. The very popular Unrelenting rework suggestion regarding Lunge range increase though is good, as current one is only useful vs dead hard.

Devil_hit11 is mentioning the FOV issue in which you can blind the killers ear and cause them to drop a survivor or be blinded from it
