This PS4 debacle is a joke...

PS4 won't be getting the bp event dude that's for PC users.

Yes you will, there will be two and one of them starts tonight, read the official post by the devs on it.

We still get the blood point event, we just don’t get to spend those blood points on the new survivor and killer. That’s what he’s complaining about.

There is another double blood point event in August, you will be able to do your upgrading then

Wow.... so not only does everyone get the second BP event because of their [BAD WORD] up on PS4's patch, but we don't EVEN get the courtesy of having the event stalled for us so that we can fully enjoy it. We realistically may not even get the patch til Monday or Tuesday because they won't release it without the dlc... so what is the point of the second BP event again? To scorn us for having the nerve to VOICE OUR disappointment when they screw these things up? 

At this point it feels spiteful and anti consumer, am I wrong for thinking that?

PS4 EU will have access to the DLCs on July 6th at midnight local time (between thursday and friday).
PS4 NA will have access to the DLCs on July 9th at midnight local time (between sunday and monday).

What about the Double Bloodpoint event?

This weekend's Double Bloodpoint event will still happen on all platforms as it was originally planned.
We understand that this timing won't allow PS4 NA players to optimize their bloodpoint spending on the new content and we apologize for that.
The process we just went through for Certification took longer than what we planned but is finally behind us.
To make up for the PS4 NA player's inconvenience, we have added an additional Double Bloodpoint event to our event schedule this summer, stay tuned for the dates!

Of course, but I have no reason to assume they would lie on this. It would have been a much smarter move to admit they failed cert, rather than say Sony are taking too long to pass it, and then get called out

Yeah, they probably fixed a quick bug problem, and re-sent it.

If that was required it would not have passed the Microsoft Cert

I’m not sure if I stated this, but Sony is harsher with cert. still, BHVR knows he guidelines

You did state that, and I disagreed with you. They are both just as strict as eachother, the difference is how Sony treats Indie devs.

Um, no. It is not Sony's fault the patch failed cert once at least.. It isn't Sony's fault that Bhvr decided different timetables amongst it's player base was a fine idea. Sony had no control in the decision of BHVR to continually patronize a fraction of its player base, disregard it, offer almost nothing in compensation, and deciding that everyone except Ps4 gets two BP events.

What are you talking about? Everyone gets the two planned BP events. It is going ahead as planned. 

No no he means ps4 gets 1.5  bp events which is true if the second bp event is on all platforms. I’m not one to say these things but ps4 definitely is getting shafted on this one.

But you can still spend those points on other killers/survivors and try and farm up for good offerings so that when that comes out you've got those points ready from bonus bp.

Yes it sucks but as a pc user as an example knowing the stuff might be delayed I kept spending my points so that when the bonus came out i'd be nowhere near the cap. I prestiged to lvl 2 my survivor main and she's just waiting to hit p3 now. I also leveled up a bunch of my other chars so that again I'd be able to use the bonus offerings when event went live.

If you really want the dlc and cosmetics it simple, go to Gamestop and trade in your PS4 for an Xbox, get the content play and when Sony actually releases it trade back.

I hope they discontinue support for the PS4. It'd be better than 20 threads whining about the same thing. I have tried to see it from both sides, but all I can see now is "I'm entitled to everything because I am entitled to everything."

Used to see this same garbage with people whining about console exclusives and all that. So you got it late. They are adding another BP Event, so you can level up then. FFS people, just start your Clown or Kate out at level 1 and do it normally. I NEVER save BP for Prestige. I much prefer to start them at level 1 and actually learn the character's powers instead of immediately leaning on all the crutch Perks I have. Maybe if more people would do this, they might actually learn how to play instead of relying on a stale crutched up meta on both sides.

The only thing I’m pissed off about is the EU and NA thing. 

Not only am I getting screwed because of what platform I play on, I’m getting screwed because of what region I’m in. This is [BAD WORD] horse #########.

It's stupid that PC and Xbox are getting 2 double bp weekends to spend on the chapter and we only get 1 it's stupid it should only be exclusive to PS4 NA players since we get the chapter at the end of double bp and EU gets like 4 days of double bp for clown on PS4. This launch was horribly planned.
